So, I play Magmatic Force
my mate looks at it and says, "That can't surely mean Both your's and my own upkeep?" And I said, "yep"
So, he argued it to be too OP.
I was just asking if his ability does activate on thy opponents upkeep aswell.

It triggers on each upkeep.  That is every time there is an upkeep.  As far as being overpowered...hardly.  It costs a lot to put it down.

Thank you for your answer, I argued back, that it would be OP if i had riku of two reflections down and copied it doing essential 6 damage to him directly every upkeep :3

there are lots of cards that say "at the beginning of your upkkep" (eg forgotten ancient ) but as you rightly say, this is not one of them

Which is why the chose to call it a Magmatic Force .
