Who would that someone be?  Seems to me that one would need to be at least Bosh-sized to knock that thing over.  I figure that if humans are having so much trouble fending off zombies and werewolves, they probably lack the might to knock over a giant shard of magic moon rock.

Isn't it like in the middle of Thraben? Near the Church HQ? I doubt anyone that wanted to do it could have gotten close enough prior to recent events.

Because the vault is pure silver and likly magically warded.

If it was that easy to destroy the demons would have done that years ago.

Becuase Thalia and company is guarding it, because it probably wouldn't break and because a horizonta Helvault is probably just as effective as a vertical one.
