I'm looking through cards to do a modern deck and I came accross Banshee's Blade . If a creature equiped with Banshee's Blade is block by 2 creatures and deals damage to 2 creatures, if it survives will it get 2 charge counters ? And if it does trample damage ?

I would assume that since combat damage is only dealt once, twice if the Equipped creature has double strike, then the most it can have is two counters added per turn, regardless of how many creatures/players it actually damages.
If I'm right, I'm right. If I'm wrong, I still believe I'm right. Think of it as religion. dubito ergo sum.

No. Creatures deal combat damage ONCE per combat (except double-strikers); Blade will trigger only once, even with Trample.

Compare with Soul Charmer ; this card will trigger for each damaged creature, because of «...deals combat damage to a creature,...».

Thank you. I thought of Double Strike when reading the card, and I started questioning myself "if the creature had trample, etc". Re-reading the card, it's obvious, but for a moment believe I had a good synergy of cards going on. lol.
