Wizards has already said that the next block will be a bit "lighter" than the last couple, so that means we probably aren't getting "Ravnica gets invaded by Phyrexians/Eldrazi/whatever".
blah blah metal lyrics

Any chance we'll be seeing Duels of the Plainswalkers 2013 on Android?

Yes, I am talking about Temporal Mastery.

I know it's REALLY not likely (because it was done so recently) but...I don't suppose we'll get full art Rav lands will we?
******************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************** From Mark Rosewater's Tumblr: the0uroboros asked: How in the same set can we have a hexproof, unsacrificable(not a word) creature AND a land that makes it uncounterable. How does this lead to interactive play? I believe I’m able to play my creature and you have to deal with it is much more interactive than you counter my creature. ******************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************** Post #777

Love what I'm seeing of Avacyn Restored. Yes, there's the proverbial naysayers. But someone named capashen dawn certainly isn't going to be one of those that complains about an angel-themed set, that comes in white packs :p Yes, I love this set. Actually loved this whole block to tell the truth. Werewolves, vampires, ghosts, human sacrifice. And well now, angels - very clever there. How that theme got tied in. But -- Ravnica? Are you kidding me?! Could you not wait until Avacyn Restored at least came out before making everyone drool ;p Ravnica was an awesome plane. It's probably the best plane to be honest; not including Dominaria. Although someday it would be good to see a set with a setting in Phyrexia. And that would probably be more awesome. But yes, Ravnica, definitely will be fun. That said ... cough. Very subtle thing here, but everyone who can't wait for Ravnica (which is well, everybody), since blocks tie into each other, you can look at Avacyn Restored as a preview of what's coming. For example soulbound, hmmm? Suspiciously seems like a guild mechanic, maybe? (Gisela - definitely a guild mechanic)

Boy, what a great week for Magic. Ravnica was my favorite block over all, can't wait to go back!

I may be one of those proverbial naysayers, but I've tried to give reasons for every criticism I've made. Some people might be out to just hate everything Wizards does on principle, but I am not; I enjoyed the rest of the block immensely (probably my second favorite block, after Ravnica) and am disappointed in how they ended it. The story isn't finished, obviously, but as it currently stands, it's a mess, and without a Savor the Flavor column any more, they don't have much space to improve it.
As for the angel theme: I am a huge fan of angels. However, I feel that a lot of what makes angels awesome is their relative rarity. Angels are meant to be some of the strongest players on a plane; they're meant to be unique. Avacyn Restored looks like it might wind up printing more angels in one set than in the rest of the sets in the last four years combined. This seems to me like it might water dawn their awesomeness, just a little.
That said ... cough. Unless we're doing some kind of time shenanigans, the Return to Ravnica won't have guilds. This doesn't mean I'm not excited for Ravnica; I'm sure they'll come up with something awesome to fill in the gap the guilds left.

The stories are never finished, but we can make a good guess how things will turn out. Griselbrand was killed by Liliana. With that done, Liliana will move on to the next demon, and Garruk will follow. Sorin was born on Innistrad; but with order restored he will go back to traveling the multiverse as before, maybe even head over to Ravnica. (which is also probably where Liliana is headed next) (and we already know Jace is there, and Bolas is also involved. so hmm...) On Innistrad, with Avacyn back and the head demon gone, the tide will turn drastically in favor of the humans. This will help them restore much of their losses to this point. But even before Avacyn vanished into the Helvault, things were never completely ideal in Innistrad; and now with the Devil's Breach it will keep the angels busy fighting all those infernals. And things will ultimately reach a new standoff/equilibrium between the angels and demons, not unlike it was before the block story began. Well anyway that's a good guess I'm fine with it, because to be honest, we haven't had a good ending in a bit. So we really needed one rather than just leave another plane in ruin, and what better place than where angels are involved? As far as the angelic theme; it's fine, they just obviously can't do it again without jumping through serious hoops. But then I don't think they intend to do an angel-themed set again. Just like I don't think they plan to do another block based on horror. It's not that those things aren't cool, it's just that they have a lot of other ideas they want to implement. It's fun to at least have one though. Someday I'm sure they'll do a block that revolves around being underwater. But no matter, far as I'm concerned, this sure beats a whole block that revolves around spirits, aka kami. (I don't think spirits ever recovered from that btw. Before they were cool ghosts, now nobody knows what they are) But yeah, we have to see how everything unfolds. Theres's still those two planewalker cards in this set, and that should let us know where things are headed. In terms of Ravnica, they probably have new guilds if I was to take a guess. But I'm sure it will be a good set. They probably have a stockpile of ideas they always wanted to do, but couldn't fit the last time.

I don't think this burn card is actually playable. Getting it (or, horror of horrors, three) in the opening-seven means it's going to drag down that essential aggro start. Drawing it late is nice as a "oops I win" card, but it wouldn't really do anything Fireblast isn't doing already (and slightly better), and it has horrible synergy with the tiny handful of "gas" cards red can get. If a decent red pitch-card emerges (why oh why is Pyrokinesis missing "or player"?), it's going to be worth considering. As is, probably not.
