Nice Tibalt wallpaper. I wish you guys would give us more in this style. That is, wallpapers that don't have the giant, obtrusive, violators across the top or side the artwork telling us what set it's from. I just want a nice clean, fresh piece of art on my desktop
I agree with Mouthsmasher. I love the wallpaper this week.

To the folks complaining about the lack of continuity...just look at all the Sorin cards we've had: Sorin's Thirst Sorin's Vengeance ...and, of course: Sorin Markov So it's not all that surprising that Sorin, Lord of Innistrad showed up, but...there's a BIG FREAKIN' CLUE bopping over you over the head here: he's got WHITE in his casting cost! Wait, WHAT?!?! Meanwhile, we've got Liliana running around somewhere, and the Helvault lurking... ...and then KABOOM, ANGELS! OH, so THAT'S why Sorin has the white in his casting cost! The only thing that doesn't really come clear to me is how the Helvault popped. But the awesomeness of the sheer variety of the angels more than makes up for it for me. :P (And I didn't particularly care one way or the other for the creature type beforehand; I've just been incredibly impressed by how unique each one is from the rest.)

Liliana used her ultimate ability on Thalia , making her choose between the Helvault and humanity.

Can someone at WotC correct what today's Card of the Day says? Wingcrafter – Avacyn Restored common. The full meaning of Soulbond, according to the Avacyn Restored FAQ, is: "When this creature enters the battlefield, if you control both this creature and another creature and both are unpaired, you may pair this creature with another unpaired creature you control for as long as both remain creatures on the battlefield under your control." In order to be paired, both creatures must start out unpaired.
No, that's only half the meaning of Soulbond, and I only know that because I was surprised and confused when I read that and went to the FAQ to check. The other half is, "Whenever another creature enters the battlefield under your control, if you control both that creature and this one and both are unpaired, you may pair that creature with this creature for as long as both remain creatures on the battlefield under your control." So soulbond doesn't only trigger when the creature with soulbond enters the battlefield, despite what the Card of the Day says, but you can only re-pair it if it is unpaired.
Both of those together are 702.92a, and then there are paragraphs b, c, d, and e, spelling out the meaning of pairing.
I like soulbond as a mechanic, but its reminder text is confusingly written, and today's FAQ doesn't help.

Ah, right. Is that hinted at in any of the Avacyn Restored cards? If so, then we've got all the flavor revealed by the set after all.
