The deck went U/B Zombies with loads of removal and a captain. It works quite well

With Olivia being the biggest standout amongst the rares, I was quickly drawn to try a b/r build. The deck is a little creature shy with only 10, but with double reap the seagraf standing in as some additional 3 drops and a big finisher in army of the damned, I think it should probably be enough. Pike should easily make even the worst of the creatures into legit threats with 12 spells to put in the bin and faithless looting can pitch the situational spells like fling and increasing vengeance to dig for creatures or lands. You should never loot if you have valid plays in the early game. It's best saved for late when you draw into excess land, though this deck certainly makes use of an abundance of land through army and olivia. Fling is included for it's insanity with ravenous demon, although with only two humans in the deck, they will often just be 4/4 dudes for 5 which is fine. If you can sac a ragethrower or a waif though, getting in for 9 with the flipped demon and casting fling post combat should end games fairly quickly. Copying fling or any other of your removal spells with vengeance should be quite amazing, especially with a morbid tragic slip, and even more ridiculous with flashback. Even copying a reap the seagraf in a pinch should be a fine play. Ghoulcaller's chant is a fine way to get back Olivia or even just return a human to sacrifice and sort of acts as a 14th creature. The most notable exclusion is nearheath stalker, since the deck is creature light and it plays pretty well with Fling, but I just really haven't been all that impressed by the stalker. It usually just trades with the opponents two smallest guys when going on the offense, which is admittedly sometimes fine, especially if you have a ragethrower in play, but generally not very unexciting. The deck has enough high end with double demon, ragethrower and army, I just didn't feel it needed another 5-drop, though it might prove better than the second looting and would probably get boarded in against decks with a lot of bigger guys. A single island is included as a nod to double reap the seagraf, enabling it's flashback cost, and I think with so many double mana symbols in the deck, the two lootings might just be necessary to dig for the second swamp or mountain when needed, and letting you pitch your double mana spells if you blank on the draw. The deck seems to have alot of synergies going for it, making use out of most of the rares, and creating some very powerful endgame scenarios. The mana curve appears to be fairly decent, and despite the early creatures being fairly bad, I think with all the powerful endgame cards this deck possesses, just chumping and enabling morbid slips or having a guy to don the pike in the early game should buy enough time to get big with some of the deck's powerful finishers.

I wasn't sure if the R was worth splashing or not.  The Aristrocat is pretty good with the amount of fodder in the deck and Rage Thrower just ends games (again with the amount of fodder in the deck).  Jar of Eyeballs is another card I'm unsure about.  I would probably end up replacing the Ravenous Demon for the Jar.  With 2x Deranged Assistant , Army of the Damned is actually castable and with Divination and Civilized Scholar , it's also pretty consistent.

Murder of Crows will also help with the consistency of the deck.  With the Aristocrat in play, it is like playing a slightly worse version of Careful Study for free.

The basic plan here is 'Dig for Rotting Fensnake  or Falkenrath Aristocrat . Give some kind of boost ( Runechanter's Pike / Furor of the Bitten ) or, in the case of the Fensnake, evasion ( Cobbled Wings / Gruesome Deformity ). Failing that, Rage Thrower  gets out while the decent amount of spot removal takes out their creatures.
Basic, I know, but it's somewhat reliable, even if the creature count is a bit low the  Tragic Slip 's make up for it, and with  Jar of Eyeballs and 2x  Faithless Looting , which in my dreams shall be boosted with  Increasing Vengeance should let me find the  Falkenrath Aristocrat and necessary components.

It seems the majority took Blue over Green.  With the extra human count plus the caravan to hunt for swamps  it seemed more ideal to me, plus it boosted my creatures which some of the decks definately needed.  This deck is packed with land which may be a downfall to something faster, but the cheap removal would hopefully get me into  mid to late game where the bombs would start to fall.

I didn,t go for blue/black. The creature quality was horrible. And I would basically have to drawthe captain and army of the damned or lose. The early game is shacky and the majority of creatures are not agressive and can't block and kill anything. Your first real threat comes at 5 mana. The removal is tempting but I feel the deck would be a sitting duck too often.

So I went with this.

I have three 1 mana cards to negate removal and combats tricks, and plenty of evasion. You can just slap cobbled wings into anything big and leeave the deck on autopilot. Cobbled wing + village survivors is hard to deal with, and iis also annoying on midnight guard. and this deck can actually mange to make fateful hour matter. Gutter grime also helps with removal (not that the deck needs more help in that department) which is furthered by Hunted fengraf. Village bellringer also likes to have fat creatures around attacing every turn. There are so many creatures with a high toughness that you should usually win with the griffins while the ground is locked down. (or anything equiped with wings)

I would not play the u/b build over this.  This has a good early, mid and late game, as opposed to mid and late, and has more staying power.

black/red designed to strap gruesome deformity, runechanter's pike, and sharpened pitchfork to rotting fensnake, nearharth stalker, rage thrower, and falkenrath arisocrat. fling and army of the damned for the finish if your x/1's with first strike, flying, haste, and intimidate can't do the job for you.

{Edit}  So, I like what the green/white deck guy had to say.  Makes a ton of sense.  Just got back into the game and am on an 0-0-12 losing streak on sealed and I always make decks like the U/B build.  I was thinking I would take the red mana down to three.  The splash will make the deck more deadly I think, but is not necessary for the win.  The deck seems to have a solid curve, has a defense early game, a solid mid game and a few heavy finishers.

Let me know what you guys think.
