Does Curse of Stalked Prey have a place in R/W?
Eh I've toyed around with the idea, but in and of itself, it does nothing to affect the board position. I rather honor or a in general pump than somehting I have to be sucsessfull hitting with. Static pumps and equips work better overall when your dealing with sometimes low toughness creatures.
I was considering Curse of Stalked Prey as well, given that a large part of the boosters that Humans uses are all rotating out of Standard (Swords, Angelic Destiny, Honor of the Pure) unless they show up in the remainder of M13 that hasn't been spoiled yet.
That having been said, are there currently any good Innistrad/M13 cards that would be noteworthy for W/x Human (to replace staple cards that are rotating out)? I've got my eyes on Ajani, Caller of the Pride and Rancor myself. Fervor also looks pretty nice.

I have been running something like this to moderate success. Any suggestions
Land
4x Seachrome Coast 4x Glacial Fortress 3x Moorland Haunt 2x Cavern of Souls 10x Plains
4x Champion of the Parish 4x Doomed Travler 1x Hero of Bladehold 2x Riders of Gavony 4x Mirran Crusader 2x Thalia, Gaurdian of Thraben 2x Grand Abolisher 2x Silverblade Paladin 3x Fiend Hunter 2x Blade Splicer
4x Honor the Pure 3x Oblivion Ring 2x Angelic Destiny 2x Sword of War and Peace
I only have one hero so thats why only one and the addition of the riders.
Same on cavern and silverblades.
Side is the normal stuff, cages, purges, mana leak, sword of feast and famine, etc. No rachet bombs though.

My take on GW Humans (61 cards MD): Land 2 x Cavern of Souls 4 x Forest 2 x Gavony Township 8 x Plains 4 x Razorverge Thicket 4 x Sunpetal Grove Creatures 4 x Avacyn's Pilgrim 4 x Champion of the Parish 4 x Doomed Traveler 4 x Nearheath Pilgrim 3 x Thalia, Guardian of Thraben 2 x Fiend Hunter 4 x Blade Splicer 4 x Mirran Crusader 4 x Restoration Angel Spells 4 x Honor of the Pure Sideboard: 1 x Fiend Hunter 1 x Thalia, Guardian of Thraben 2 x Celestial Purge 2 x Crushing Vines 3 x Gitaxian Probe 3 x Nevermore 3 x Oblivion Ring I ran this deck in GP Manila (my first big tournament) and posted 4-3 before dropping after the 7th round. Round 1: Lost vs. Monoblack Infect He would kill my Golem tokens and banked on double Phyrexian Crusader s for the kill. Round 2: Won vs. Delver Pike Thalia and constant pressure got to my opponent games two and three after him winning game one with a 13/1 Invisible Stalker . Round 3: Lost vs. RG Aggro Mana-flooded both games with barely a board presence. Round 4: Won vs. BW Tokens The Fiend Hunter and Restoration Angel combo made sure that his tokens were under control, even after three Intangible Virtue s. Round 5: Won vs. UW Delver My Restoration Angels were larger than his and I profited from flickering my Blade Splicers. Restoration Angels also made sure that his Vapor Snag - Snapcaster Mage tricks didn't land all the time. Round 6: Won vs. Naya Aggro I got better draws and more creatures. I didn't see a Birthing Pod though. Round 7: Lost to Wolf Run Ravager Easily my best match. Won a squeaker game one. Got pummeled by Primeval Titan and Inferno Titan game two after he stabilized with a Bonfire of the Damned . Game three I had him at around 5 life, two Nevermores in play with Prime Time and Inferno named, he hardcast a Bonfire. I managed to get a small presence on the board again and flickered my Fiend Hunter during his turn to exile his attacking Inkmoth Nexus . He then hardcasts another Bonfire, freeing his Nexus. I died during his next turn with a Kessig'd Inkmoth. I can say with certainty that Restoration Angel is the all star of my deck - without her I would've been eliminated earlier. People weren't expecting Wx Humans to run it. Most of my losses were close, with the exception of the RG Aggro match.

Delux, I'm not sure having Honor of the Pure as your only non-creature spell is such a great idea. You should be using more support and perhaps some kind of removal, because all it would take is someone dropping a Sword of War and Peace and you are totally screwed. Consider Oblivion Ring and maybe even some Swords yourself.
Residual energetic and psychic emenations from the spark of planewalkers going in and out of the blind eternities like it was a windmill eventually coalesced into beings named eldrazi who by their very nature could not consume mundane sources of nourishment to sustain their existence.

Do I post about Puresteel here? Or just too different of an archetype?

@Georg51 Thanks for your input. I based my decklist on Craig Wescoe's Haunted Humans but made it GW: magic.tcgplayer.com/db/article.asp?ID=10... I must admit though, that I found myself siding in the O-Rings in most matches. I suppose I could cut some cards for 2-3 MD O-Rings. As for Swords, those are far too expensive and will soon be rotating, so I just got the cheaper rares like Splicers and Crusaders from the Scars block. Nearheath Pilgrim does an excellent job of racing SoWaP, and I most of time my hand is nearly empty for it to do significant damage. I'm thinking about turning it into Haunted Humans, and currently waiting on M13 spoilers before purchasing UW duals.

Too different; it's not really about Humans even though it's key card is one.
It's really not even about giving niche cards to black.
It should be about giving black cards to Niche.

I'm thinking of running the Boros version of this deck for FNM post M13 coming in. Does anyone see any cards that are a MUST play from M13 for that deck? This was the original deck that I saw on page 1 of this thread that I want to tweek to the newer Standard. And seeing as no one has posted in this thread for a few weeks I thought I would try to get it going again. Spoiler:

Even though I like W/R humans i've felt that the red did not pull it's own weight in the deck.
While Stormblood Beserker is a great card, it does not fit well in the human deck. The reason why it is so good in RDW is because they have many means of ensuring it comes out on turn 2 with as a 3/3. In this guy's build he only has 6 one drops so the chances of that hapening are slim to nothing.
One other thing I don't like about this particular build is only one copy of Slayer's Stronghold. That land is one of the greatest reasons to splash red in the first place. There should by default be at least 2.
I am running a mono white version right now and I must say that Ajani, Caller of the Pride is really good but i'm not sure if it is a MUST have. Giving a +1/+1 counter to a silverblade or crusader is great. And it's -3 (FLying and Double Strike) is cool on a Champion of the Parish with a few counters on it or a Bladehold.
I think another cool card M13 gave us was Faith's Reward but i'm not sure how good it actually is if Terminus becomes the most poular board sweeper.

I also am not a fan of Stormblood Berserker in Boros Humans. I feel that the deck is just better off with more 1 drops. In testing i had success with Stromkirk Noble in the 1 slot along with Champion of the Parish. Both of them can get out of hand really quickly. Also i like a 2-2 split of Hero of Bladehold and Hellrider . He is probably on the best red creatures in the format right now.
