IrOn can you link that deck by chance? Or list the cards somehow? There is one guy that I think plays some form of an Alara Deck because he's cleared the board a couple times. I would however be curious to try one since I've only seen it in action one time and his wasn't necessarily dominating in anyway.  I'm certain he didn't win with it when I remember seeing it that night.  I think it was the first or second week I was playing with them.

Thanks bunches!!!!

I'll get in on the deck list fun.  This is my Momir Vig Toolbox deck.  I call it AP Bio Chem.  It's definitely tuned for more mid to late game shennanigans, and is by no means an ideal deck, but it's just fun to play.  The idea of the deck is to use ETB effects of various creatures to eke out a board advantage, and with multiple engines that return creatures to hands, it's not as hard as you might think.  It also has the potential to win via infinite turns!  I'll put little blurbs next to certain key cards explaining the reason for their inclusion.

Commander
Momir Vig, Simic Visionary lets me tutor for EVERY creature in the deck, many of which are very important.  Woo hoo!

Creatures
Acidic Slime

Aethersnipe returning things to your opponents hands is always useful. evoke means the creature still enters the battle field, so I can get a Cloudstone Curio trigger.  It's regular casting cost even gives you a 4/4 body.

Brutalizer Exarch opponent recurring everything you blow up?  This guy helps.  He can also fetch you a fatty.  Imprint him on a Mimic Vat for extra board control!

Chancellor of the Spires

Coiling Oracle one piece of this deck's card advantage engine, the others being the Curio and Eternal Witness.  I cannot express how much of a pimp this guy is.  This most often is the card I return to my hand with the Curio.

Drift of Phantasms this guy is most often the first target for Momir Vig.  He fetches Cloudstone Curio, Crystal Shard , Fabricate , Blue Sun's Zenith , and a bunch of other important cards.

Eternal Witness auto include in any deck running green?  When combined with the Curio or Crystal Shard, the Witness serves to return things like Blatant Thievery and Time Stretch to my hand.  Infinite turns AND everything on the board?  Yes please!

Frontier Guide

Haze Frog haven't had need for this just yet, but the ETB effect is too good to pass up.

Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur for when you absolutely, positively want your playgroup to target you.

Kederekt Leviathan goodbye token army!

Lighthouse Chronologist for lulz mostly.  He's generally used as a distraction while I do other things.

Lorthos, the Tidemaker

Magus of the Future sometimes I can't play the critters tutored by Momir Vig.  Now I can!  Effectively like having another card in hand.  That everyone else can see.

Mnemonic Wall for when E.Wit bites the dust and I absolutely need that Time Stretch.

Mystic Snake a reliable recurrable counterspell!  Even better with Leyline of Anticipation on the field.  With the Leyline, the Curio, and a couple of cheap creature in hand, you can effectively counter whatever you want.

Overbeing of Myth

Oracle of Mul Daya

Pelakka Wurm

Phyrexian Ingester kind of a blue Duplicant .  The only reason this is in the deck, rather than Duplicant is because it triggers the Curio.

Phyrexian Metamorph one of the more versatile shapeshifters

Primeval Titan he knows exactly where the Reliquary Tower and Mosswort Bridge are!

Sphinx Ambassador

Sphinx of Lost Truths I've been unimpressed with this guy for the most part.  Thinking I might replace him Mulldrifter

Stormtide Leviathan good for getting in some beats, while locking down most token armies.

Sylvan Ranger with the Curio or Crystal Shard in play, this guy makes sure I never miss a land drop.

Tajuru Preserver shuts down Grave Pact .

Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir this guy is just good.  Allows for ETB effects of creatures at instant speed, and Momir Vig can even fetch him.

Terastodon

Tornado Elemental my old playgroup had a guy that ran Scion/Dragonstorm shenanigans.  This was included specifically for him.

Trinket Mage he's got two targets: Sol Ring for the early game, and Elixir of Immortality for the late game or if any of my engines end up in the yard.

Trygon Predator

Vesuvan Shapeshifter

Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger just cuz.

Yavimaya Elder

Artifact
Caged Sun

Cloudstone Curio one of the deck's lynchpins.  This artifact is what allows me to abuse the ETB effects of all my critters.  Without this or Crystal Shard, the deck is less than half as effective.

Crystal Shard see above

Elixir of Immortality

Lightning Greaves

Mimic Vat in my opinion, one of the most useful, and sometimes political, artifacts in EDH.  Love it.

Sol Ring

Venser's Journal I plan on having lots of cards in hand.

Whispersilk Cloak lets Sphinx Ambassodor get through most of the time.

Enchantments
Asceticism I would like my creatures to stick around as long as possible.

Bear Umbra

Fable of Wolf and Owl

Leyline of Anticipation really nice in an opening hand, or if something happens to Teferi.  Wish I could tutor for it though.

Leyline of Vitality

Trade Routes My favorite blue utility card.  So good.

Planeswalkers
Jace Beleren   Everybody loves baby Jace!  He speeds up early games, replenishes an exhausted hand, and can be tutored for by Drift of Phantasms!

Garruk Wildspeaker

Sorceries
Blatant Thievery take whatever you like.  Do it again and again and again with E.Wit and the Curio.

Fabricate can tutor for a small but crucial percentage of the deck.

Rite of Replication

Spitting Image works great with Trade Routes

Time Stretch I mentioned it before, but this plus E.Wit plus the Curio plus Coiling Oracle means you probably win.

Instants
Beast Within

Blue Sun's Zenith

Counterlash just put this in.  Seems like it could be good.

Spell Crumple running Mystic Snake, I don't need to run a ton of counters, but this one is great, and can be brought back with Drift of Phantasms.

Lands
Forest x 10
Island x 12

Bant Panorama

Evolving Wilds

Ghost Quarter someone's always got a Sunhome or something

Halimar Depths Trade Routes loves this one

Hinterland Harbor

Mosswort Bridge combined with Trade Routes and Oracle of Mul Daya, this tends to work out well.

Magosi, the Waterveil Best in the early game when you can get an eon counter on it.  Otherwise it's just there because I love the art.

Mystifying Maze helpful against very aggressive commanders

Oran-Rief, the Vastwood

Reliquary Tower

Rushwood Grove

Simic Growth Chamber

Tectonic Edge

Temple of the False God

Terramorphic Expanse

Tolaria West fetches Reliquary Tower or some other useful land.

Just play my vorosh deck list in my sig. It's stupid powerful. Or you could play my scion deck list but it's not up to date as I added hermit Druid combo and it now wins in multiplayer on turn 3

I just wanted to update everyone.  So, for financial reasons, I ended up building under the pre-Con Commander decks and have been using the Khalia deck. I chose her so on mana hose, I can cast for free. The good is that, at a 4 cost I'm up and running pretty quick. The bad is, she forces me to play aggressive so I can get high cost pigs onto the playing field for free.  This hasn't helped my getting targeted, HOWEVER, I have found ways to strengthen and cover me.  Like using global affects.  Which, again, doesn't help me as far as targeting but surely makes me more competitive.  Cards like Repay In Kind , Mindcrank , Wound Reflection , Psychosis Crawler , Stranglehold ,   Aegis Angel , Avacyn, Angel of Hope .  I can use all of these to work through combo cards too like Black Market , Necrologia & Exsanguinate . Recursion through Sheoldred, Whispering One and one turn kills with Elbrus, the Binding Blade & Tainted Strike . I found searching in mid game with Inceasing Ambition lets me pull up whatever I need and then I can use it again for a win condition and get two cards. When mana hose from destruction or limitation lockdown, Dragon Arch & Quicksilver Amulet , I have all the infect enchantments and equipment so if I can do more one turn infect kills and this guy draws a lot of attention Blighsteel Colossus , if for nothing else, than to make them burn a wipe card or a removal card. I've also found that Basandra, Battle Seraph helps me more than ever now.  I am loaded up with massive hitters and high cost cards for Baneful Omen and others like Gisela, Blade of Goldnight , Reiver Demon , Kokusho, the Evening Star , Rune-Scarred Demon , Demon of Death's Gate & Dragon Tyrant .

See, at least now they have a reason to go after me.  The problem is, there is so much happening, if they global wipe as much as they need to with this, they screw up their own strategies. This buys me time and buys me victories.  Some of them have even, at times, 'teamed up' with me because they know they can't beat me >  So much satisfaction playing lately.

In summation.  Thank you all for helping me get my mind thinking and the wheels spinning on how to make this work out for me.  This deck, and they even know I'm playing it, is a complete force to be reckoned with.  Every card helps the other so much that they can't waste every spell on every card of mine or they are too threatened by otheres in the game. At the same time, they can't let me sit for 3-4 turns or I just win.  I've thanked them also.  Why would I thank a bunch of buttheads that gang up on me? Cause they have made me better.  They've made me do my homework.  They've made me think outside the box. They've made me leverage my resources. Now, I pwn almost every game, whether they like it or not!

I'm going to construct that Vorash deck for sure next. Nothing like the element of surprise to keep them on their toes

Thanks again mah M:tG peeps!!!
