Have Wizards said anything before about the FTV sets and them getting around the reserved list since Relics? I only ask because a couple of things in relics are on the list (Karn, Masticore, Memopry Jar and Mox Diamond).
Would be cool to know that reserved list land could be appearing

The old exploit involving shinies that allowed them to reprint reserved cards previously has since been closed. There was a big stink about it after Phyrexian Negator was blatantly the flagship card in Phyrexia Vs the Coalition. Since then, Wizards has explicitly stated (Don't ask me where) that they've decided to definitely honor the reserved list and will no longer make any attempts to circumvent it.

Those reserve list cards in Relics got them in a lot of trouble, and those on the side of keeping the reserve list were very upset about them. Before that set was announced in 2010, they had the policy of "no reprints of the reserve list, but foils in special sets are ok." When Phyrexian Negator and Masticore were announced, it added to the huge reserved list argument that was happening at that time (because of the increasing popularity of Legacy and the decreasing availability of original dual lands). There was a lot of discussion about it, Wizards flew big names in the secondary market out to Renton (Ben Bleiweiss of Star City among them, who argued that reprinting an old card makes its value go up, not down -- see Time Warp when it was in Standard in M10), everyone whose voice mattered seemed to be for ending the reserve list. Then with no explanation, Wizards announced that the reserve list was going to stay and the loophole about reprinting the cards on it as foils would be closed. Their official announcement was that they believed it was important to stay true to their word. Common assumption is that their lawyers found some sort of legal issues involving reprinting the cards. So, no, there will be no reserved list card in this set.

here is hoping Adventurers' Guildhouse , Cathedral of Serra , Mountain Stronghold , Seafarer's Quay , and Unholy Citadel are all in there (no, really, just kidding, don't kill me?) so, there is always one crap card in these groups, I'm guessing Sorrow's Path , cause that's such a good land...

6. Wizards MIGHT just, you know, decide to screw the Reserved List, and announce that this has Library of Alexandria and Bazaar of Baghdad and Underground Sea and Maze of Ith and some other redonculous stuff. I'm waiting for the Mothership to confirm or deny this rumor I'm hereby starting. I want to have something to dream for. :p
Maze of Ith isn't on it, so you can at least hope for that much.

The art is obviously Thawing Glaciers. Other shoo-ins are Dark Depths, Treetop Village, Rishadan Port and Gaea's Cradle/Tolarian Academy. Less certain are Bazaar of Baghdad and Mishra's Workshop.
I sort of assumed it would be Glacial Chasm .

Thanks for clearing that up about the reserve list. It's a shame but there's still all sorts of cool land that could still be in there. Think this might be the first FTV I actually get

Should have at least Wasteland or Maze of Ith. Hopefully you're right so I don't have to give a damn that WotC's idea of making the modern manabase "accessible" to all players is to release a set of one each that isn't going to be sold at MSRP anywhere on this planet. vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv
The FtV sets are never supposed to be sold at MSRP. They're gifts from Wizards to loyal stores.

My impression is that at this point the set will favor EDH to a strong degree, and in fact may be intended to make certain lands that are extremely popular in EDH available (which is why I agree with Thawing Glaciers ' inclusion). But this will also mean that certain lands that are banned in the format, like Tolarian Academy , may be less viable for inclusion. Certainly, infamous lands with high power but low availability being accessible to formats where it's legal in, like Academy, can argue for its inclusion; but I suspect it will be the one legendary land from Urza's that will CERTAINLY not be included.
My predictions:
Academy Ruins Bazaar of Baghdad Dark Depths Darksteel Citadel Flagstones of Trokair Gaea's Cradle Kher Keep Mishra's Workshop Phyrexian Tower Scrying Sheets Thawing Glaciers Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle Winding Canyons And one new land, from an upcoming set, which they always provide (save "Exiled").
