Like your articles, hopefully you'll be in charge of them from now on haha. As for the card, hasn't it been previewed somewhere else already? Unofficial I suppose.
I get that the ability is expensive because it's reusable removal, but with soo many "Sac a human" cards out there, especially in black so far, are there really gonna be that many humans around to sac? Without going White human tokens of course. I just don't understand where all these humans will be coming from. Maybe with time all will be revealed, but it's a small set and I know I shouldn't get my hopes up, as much as I want to. Yay for tribal wolves either way, now if only there were enough devils to make a devil themed deck, and the up coming 1CMC Devil won't even be a turn one drop without killing himself ... /sigh.

I guess that's the point, right? Humans are going extinct, it's getting hard to find your recommended daily allowance of victims if you're a demon or vampire these days. It's awesome when the flavor of the setting plays out in individual games.

It just struck me how thematically similar Scars of Mirrodin block is to Innistrad in some ways; it makes sense though, since the whole 'Phyrexians corrupt you and take you over' was explicitly inspired by the Zombie horror theme. The good guys will win this time though. Edit: I would play him 100% of the time in limited even if I was always just going to sacrifice himself. Getting any extra value out of him is just gravy.

When Forge Devil enters the battlefield, it deals 1 damage to target creature and 1 damage to you.

I like the art of all Skirsdag cards, and this is not an exception. What is good about this dude's ability is the non-conditionality of the removal. At worst, he's 4BB destroy target creature, which shouldn't be too bad for limited. But with all the human token makers we've seen so far, he can reliably be repeated removal for 4.

Okay, here is the clincher. I've been waiting to say this.
The "cam girl" this was inspired by was just a girl from a social networking website, Stickam. Her name was TinyTerror and she was just a regular girl who was on her webcam, totally unrelated to any type of adult content.
I hope you all feel really smart now.
This is like someone coming into class with a bloody nose and everyone's like "Jeez what happened to you" and they're like "I ran into a wall" and everyone laughs at them for being an idiot but then at the end of the class they say "HAHA JUST KIDDING I PUNCHED MYSELF IN THE FACE!!!!!! TALK ABOUT OWNED HAHAHAHAHA"
I really enjoy imagining this from Kevin's perspective. Because in Kevin's world, Rosewater actually reads everything he types. Mark is sitting there right now, reading this, and thinking "The greatest trick the devil ever pulled. . ." Or some such. He chuckles low, then clicks on "The Best Of KEVINSET" and says "Yes, this'll do just fine. A busty lady with banding who deals direct damage to Zones!? Why this will be the star of my next set, and no one will ever believe you Kevin." Then he closes his Macbook, so his servant may move it out of the way, while another servant puts a Fetal Richard Garfield Clone lathered in Steak Sauce in front of him. Then Mark Feasts.
Sorin walked into the chamber where his newly wed bride, Vampy, awaited. A beam of moonlight illuminated his brilliant silver hair as he strode with confidence towards the bed. His shirtless body showcased his powerful abdominal muscles and he was wearing jeans with holes in the knees.
I wish more girls play magic cards...
Have you considered assassinating Kevin?

Cycles are left conspicuously incomplete. As the Werewolves, Spirits, Zombies, and Vampires thrive upon their tribal allegiances, Innistrad's Humans find themselves lacking comparable tools. Taken together, these tactics convey a certain feel that creeps in on you after you've played the set for awhile. Don't get me wrong—the Humans still have some weapons in reserve.
Sigh.
So Mikaeus was monowhite instead of WG. The Mythic werewolf isn't Legendary leaving Werewolves without a commander. Now you're saying GW doesn't get an uncommon tribal lord or mythic creature?
Why do you hate green so much?

At worst he's a 1B target player chooses a creature removal spell and discards it

You may be reading too much into this. Think Odyssey (balanced) into Torment (heavily unbalanced) into Judgment (inverting the imbalance). I think Avacyn Restored may attempt to qualify the missing elements of the flavor.
Also, where were you when Vorapede showed up in the Image Galley, or Thrun, the Last Troll in the last block, or Vengevine in the one before that, or Primeval Titan (the best of the titans) in the Core Set?
"Possibilities abound, too numerous to count."
"Innocent, unbiased observation is a myth." --- P.B. Medawar (1969)
"Ever since man first left his cave and met a stranger with a different language and a new way of looking at things, the human race has had a dream: to kill him, so we don't have to learn his language or his new way of looking at things." --- Zapp Brannigan (Beast With a Billion Backs)
