If I had to guess, I'd say that it has to do with power creep. Most rares and many uncommons are so stupidly overpowered in Limited that it often degenerates into "who opened better?" As good as a player as you are, you're never going to beat that Olivia Voldaren or Balefire Dragon unless you got very lucky and drafted a few niche removal spells. Most of the newer sets are also complete trash when it comes to constructed playables, mostly since they print cards like Gideon, Delver of Secrets , Snapcaster Mage and Titans which are so much stronger than the others that you basically can't be playing decks without them. Primetime, for example, has been a huge part of the meta for 2 full coresets since he's far and away the best creature in the color. Like, not even Thrun holds a candle to him, and Thrun isn't exactly a fair card. But yeah, the difference in power level between Primetime and every other Green creature is just so big that it's ludicrous. Same thing with Grave Titan in Black.

All that and, well, looking at the setting... vampires, monsters, etc... could have been nice but the design of those are too simple... efficient in most cases but quickly boring...
Rules question? Have you read the Basic rulebook already? No? Why not take some time to do that?
How to autocard (do this to specify a card in your posts): Type [c]Black Lotus[/c] to get Black Lotus . Type [c=Black Lotus]The Overpowered One[/c] to get The Overpowered One .
The Token producer seems fine. It's nice that it's basically a Conq Pledge that you can play nomally and then kick later on heh. The Altar just seems horribly narrow though. It doesn't even seem like it's that great of a card in Limited.

we are going to do a home draft for the new serie, should we buy a full booster box of dark ascension or combine innistrad and Dka? if so , should it be 50/50 ? we plans to buy 1 booster box + 1 fat pack, so 45 boosters total ,
Since DKa is a small expension , should we only buy a fatpack of it ?
I think the best option is a box of dka and the fat pack of innistrad. WHat do you think
If I remember correctly, drafting a small set will start with 1 pack of Dark Ascension and then move on to two packs of Innistrad. To determine how many packs to get, just multiply that by however many people you're working with.

Tich I didn't post because I disagreed with anything you said, I posted because the level of pretentiousness in your presentation is likely to make people not want to contribute anything.
Here's your first post: Grossly overestimated obvious thing is obvious, hardly worth it, retarded, retarded again, LOL herpderp incredulity. Pathetically weak lackluster jack of none-do-well has no room anywhere. Useless, detrimental, unplayable, couldn't care less, and P.S. screw thing because sarcasm.
It would take me significant conscious effort to be that negative. Just because we're on the internet doesn't mean we have to be unbearable.
Don't worry about it Minus. I've found that if you replace every word Tich says with "Necro-Impotence" , the post becomes a comedy rather than a dirge.
So far the cards I have seen haven't really impressed me, There are a few that I do like. Jar of Eyeballs could be useful if combined with proliferate. Faithful Looting a red draw card
There is no card right now that says I must have this card.
As mechanics go, I agree with what has been said already that Fateful Hour kinda seems useless. Undying seems like you could have some fun with it with cards like Fate Transfer , Leech Bonder , and Simic Guildmage .
I'm both instinctive and emotional. I value my own instincts and desires, and either ignore or crush anything that stands in my way; planning and foresight are unnecessary. At best, I'm determined and fierce; at worst, I'm headstrong and infantile.
Jar of Eyeballs seems like it could be fine in an aggro deck too. I mean it basically gives any deck that ability to draw cards for 3 mana, which isn't horrible. I like it more in say a Green deck that will just play 1-2 very strong dudes, and if someone kills them then they can just draw a card. It basically blanks removal in that sense. People trying to 1-for-1 you with Doom Blade or whatever just won't make any ground at all.
