Just bored and kinda courious as to when people started playing magic

I started playing after Champions of Kamigawa came out

At the end of unlimited.

Which was bad because all those allready in the game would rip us of moxes and lotusses before we knew what was going on

I traded about 4 moxes for 4 cursed lands

Mercadian Masques release. Never purchased any cards from it but I loved the game. And yes, I still love that block.

sounds like we started at pretty much the same time. When I started, Legends and the Dark were the expansions available. Unlimited had just finished being printed and Revised edition had just hit the shelves.
