702.2c. A creature with toughness greater than 0 that's been dealt damage by a source with deathtouch since the last time state-based actions were checked is destroyed as a state-based action. See rule 704.
I think you have an older version of the CR.
Entirely possible. I use an online hyperlinked one. My quote is from the rules for Deathtouch as a keyword ability. Your quote is from the rules for State-Based Actions. They say the same thing, and the rule is repeated elsewhere as well (such as in the rules for destruction).
Ever feel like people on these forums can't possibly understand how wrong they are? Feeling trolled? Don't get mad. Report Post.

Wow, the wording for the keyword and the SBA rule are nearly identical. I thought you were quoting the SBA rule. Nevermind me then.

I cast Moonlace on a Runeclaw Bear , and you then cast Ovinize (I'm not using Turn to Frog because it would turn the Bear blue, apart from that the Cards are identical in all relevant points). What color is the Bear? (PS: This meant as a rethorical Question for the people who are confused about the Status of "Indestructible" as an Ability, not because I do not know the answer)
[c]Forest[/c] gives you Forest

I will would now like to know who is a MTG Rule Advisor.
I am. Amongst others...
So Indestructible is not an ability but "Spearbreaker Behemoth is Indestructible" is an ability.
Correct.
Once again I ask if an ability giving to a creature until end of turn is giving a creature an ability or if it is instead classified as an "effect".
Spearbreaker behemoth has two abilities: The first is "Spearbreaker Behemoth is Indestructible". The second is " : Target creature with power 5 or greater is indestructible this turn."
The second is an activated ability. When this activated ability resolves, the creature it targets (with power 5 or greater) becomes indestructible. Note that The spearbreaker behemoth's activated ability does NOT grant the targeted creature any abilities.
Example: Incurable Ogre is a red 5/1 Creature - Ogre Mutant. You target Incurable ogre with Spearbreaker Behemoth's ability. When the ability resolves, Incurable ogre is a red indestructible 5/1 Creature - Ogre Mutant. The activated ability has created an effect (which lasts until end of turn), that means Incurable Ogre is indestructible. (Note also, that this is not the same as Incurable Ogre having an ability printed on it saying "Incurable Ogre is Indestructible".)
If your opponent targets the ogre with a card that removes abilities, such as Turn to frog or humble at this point, the "indestructible" characteristic (which it has until end of turn) is unchanged. If it was turn to frog, the "red" characteristic changes, because turn to frog specifies that the color characteristic of the targeted creature changes.
So this is why people are saying "Indestructible" is not an ability. However, the line of text on a number of cards which says "CREATURENAME is indestructible" - that line of text is an ability.
I hope that helped.
