I'm a sucker for Bloodghast & Vengevine, and was wondering if there was any sort of Bloodghast deck such as B/R Vamps? Used to be one of my fav' decks back in Zendikar/SOM Standard.
If none exist, what are the good cards to play? I'm pretty much set on a few, and am for the inclusion of Dark Confidant in the deck.
This is my first step in the Modern Format. I usually play Limited and Standard

I'm stepping into Modern myself, but Vamps were my main deck back in Zendikar. I can't imagine Dark Ritual  being a bad thing in an aggro black deck. Vampire Nocturnus  , I imagine, would be in the deck, as well as the old Zendikar block favorites Bloodghast  and Kalastria Highborn  .

I have been thinking about vamps myself and nighthawk, hexmage, stromkirk noble, olivia, and bloodghast is a creature lineup I have been looking at.
