It helps when you cast Ancient Grudge for 1UU......
The deck is pretty much UW control splashing in the MD, however it goes more intensive for board options. Some of the performance of the deck is down to the lower level of competition provided at SCG's compared to something like a PT etc.

That looks very strange. It looks like it would have some trouble having the right answers with the right mana. Out of all that, my biggest question is why Desperate Ravings  ?

some swear by it being just so much better than think twice. personally, i've tried it a bunch and only ever have it just fail for me and keep like 6 lands in my hand and discard my one business spell.
i do so much better with think twice, but it really seems to be something of a personal preference. also should be stated it dumps things in the yard, and he has a bunch of replay value for his yard.
otherwise, a more UW control deck with a better mana base just seem better.... or UWb? UWr?
