Regardless, I still hold that if one is speculating what cards a forthcoming DotP deck might have in it, they shouldn't assume cards that don't already have a precedent in game would be included. Plainscycling doesn't exist in the game, so there's reason to assume they will not include Eternal Dragon in the deck for example.

Well, the thread title is Dark Heavens Wish List, with emphasis on the wish.   How will Stainless know what we want if we don't tell them?  Maybe they don't care what we want, but no harm is done in the asking.

And I have to ask, have you seen this alternate art for Eternal Dragon?

Beautiful isn't it?  If they ever do add it to the game, they should use this art.  Sun Titan has some alternate art I really like too.

By the way, this deck is a blast to play.  Seems balanced with other high tier decks too.  Sadly, the actual deck probably wont look anything like it.

That's cool, I have zero problem with that.

I misinterpreted it then as actual speculation. With that aside, Eternal Dragon would be fun to see. I doubt you'd see more than one in a DotP deck though.

Well, this question is a bit off-topic but I will ask it anyways:

Which of the 4 upcoming decks do you want the most judging by deck name and  pure speculation?

For me, it's Forest's Fury

My inner Masochist demands Elemental Trinity.
I'd love me a quality deck. Especially if it happened to include Guided Passage

Well, you can already tell which deck I'm most looking forward to.

12-05 Edits:  Removed 1 copy of Solemn Simulacrum and added Vish Kal, Blood Arbiter .  I originally wasn't going to put Vish Kal, Blood Arbiter in, because I already had 3 copies of Falkenrath Noble and I didn't want to overly intrude on Blood Hunger.  But the deck really needed another means of sacrificing creatures, he's , and he has incredible synergy with Eternal Dragon .  Besides, the nobles needed a lord, and he interacts very well with them.  This has sort of turned into a mini-ramp deck with a lot of high cost creatures.  It can get pounded on pretty hard by a weenie deck until it gets rolling, and has lost to Blood hunger a number of times by ~ turn 4.  However, the longer the game goes, the better chance this deck has of winning.  That sort of makes it similar to Ancient Depths, and can take anything Ancient Depths can dish out with the right draws.

I think we will be seeing Dak Heavens and Beknighted decks on January. We just had a white-heavy and black decks the last month. Now I feel it is time for some Forest's Fury and Trinity of Elements.

What do you guys think?

That seems like the most reasonable conclusion, but as you can tell, I'm really looking forward to Dark Heavens.

Maybe it's Dark Heavens and Trinity of Elements in one pack. All colors would be present then. Mhh we will see in a week

By the way: I still hope the Beknighted deck is a Bant deck with Exalted.

Is this confirmed for December 14th? I love that they keep releasing decks. It makes all the other decks fun again with new strategies. Keep 'em coming!!!!
