Working on putting together a white/blue control style deck. Lands Plains x5 Island x5 Glacial Fortress x4 Moorland Haunt x4 Seachrome Coast x4 Creatures Blade Splicer x3 Mirran Crusader x4 Snapcaster Mage x4 Spellskite x3 Spells Day of Judgment x3 Dismember x3 Gitaxian Probe x3 Mana Leak x4 Oblivion Ring x3 Vapor Snag x3 Artifacts: Sword of Feast and Famine x3 Planeswalkers Gideon Jura x2 Thoughts? I will probably tryout Hero of Bladehold in place of Blade Splicer I can just trade for one splicer and 2 more will be cheap to buy as oppose to the bladehold's which are running a bit more than Blade Splicers. Also might sideboard DoJ and put in Disperse in place of them. Also thoughts on Gideon Jura in this deck? In my other deck which is a mono white human deck he win games, and I feel that he will do the same in this deck. Might try out running 2 Sun Titan 's to bring back SoFnF if they get destroyed. I have money so its not a super budget deck but I will have to buy 3 SoFnF, the Spellskites and 2 Snapcasters, so I will be putting descent amount of money in it and i feel all of those will be more beneficial than getting Hero of the Bladehold's. Criticism and comments are welcome!

Geist of Saint Traft seems to be a good addition? Just my two cents.

I just love when people say ''you are not right'' and they dont even try to give an advice.
Im playing 26 land in my UB control, might try something like that for your deck too.
As said the Geist is a nice addition btw I would remove blade splicer for that one

I'm sorry, I thought it was obvious that he should add some land. I should more clear and say that I would add geist and remove blade splicer without giving a reason :o
Blade splicer is probably better with swords, Moorland haunt is necessary if your running creatures in a control deck with Day of Jay.

I think the deck lack the card draw staple for control decks like Ponder/Forbidden Alchemy/Think Twice with the above you could trim down DOJ to 2, Sword to 2, Spellskite to 2, Dismember to 1 an island and a ponder on first draw always save me the mulligan... i think moorland haunt should be limited to 2-3 Since you already have 4 seachrome coast, Glacial fortress could be limited to 2 below is my current semi-cheap control deck... lol i could not afford no sword T_T proxy with Runechanter www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=25...

This is literally the most do-nothing play you can do in the format. The fact you're running Ponder is bad enough, but to play it at the only conceivable time that you can get basically 0 benefit of it is even worse.
Since you already have 4 seachrome coast, Glacial fortress could be limited to 2
You should almost always run the maximum number of dual lands available.
It's really not even about giving niche cards to black.
It should be about giving black cards to Niche.
