Hey, so this appears to be a more popular deck now. Here is the list I'm running....on testing things and stuff.

1 Snapcaster Mage
2 Elspeth Tirel
2 Gideon Jura
1 Karn Liberated
2 Blue Sun's Zenith
4 Day of Judgment
2 Dissipate
4 Mana Leak
2 Negate
2 Oblivion Ring
4 Ponder
4 Pristine Talisman
4 Think Twice
2 White Sun's Zenith
3 Ghost Quarter
4 Glacial Fortress
7 Island
6 Plains
4 Seachrome Coast

I really like the deck, although people keep discouraging me

Thoughts?

The only thing I don't understand is the Elspeth Tirel. Not a bad card, but you are running minimal creatures, and only one spell that makes tokens.

Karn and Venser are BFFs in any deck that can run them. Karn, -3; Venser +2 target Karn. Hello threat removal.

That would be my suggestions and why

I was hoping to cut Elspeth purely based on money. It's a cheap deck minus the walkers and snapcaster, but I feel like with Gideon at 8, Karn at 10, and Snapcaster at 25, I could put maybe $50 into it to make a sweet control deck.

Basically the point of elspeth is another board wipe. If you can resolve her and control the board, she can either make 6 tokens, gain you some life, or do a mixture and kill the board.

I don't know though, I'm still testing the deck.

You should have enough board sweep between 4x DOJ and counter spells to keep most things under control
