I was wondering if i could get help with a problem:
I play MTG in a casual group, we have no real rules. We meet on Saturdays and play for the fun. The problem is every deck we make tries to win. We have a small group. We help each other, we betray each other as long as we a having fun we are OK.
I want to make a deck that can prolong the game, yet providing many LOL's through out the night. And for the finale of this deck I want to lose the match in the most spectacular way. What are some good combo's to make this happen?
I only have 1 restriction, I would like this deck to be cheap. Somewhere in the lower than $50 range.
TL;DR : I want to lose the game, but be humorous about it, or be flashy in my own death. And somewhere in the lower than $50 range.

If you want a long annoying game play soul sisters without the beaters. Should be more or less cheap to build. the only expensive part is the phyrexian metamorph which will cost you around $5 each. 4 Soul's Attendant 4 Serra Ascendant 4 Ajani's Pridemate 4 Leonin Relic-Warder 4 Suture Priest 4 Phyrexian Metamorph Are the basic parts. You should remove the ascendants and pridemates as they tend to win games. Maybe concentrate on some blue stuff to just slow things down.

Why not play giant effects that help everyone? Eye of the Storm , Warp World , Worldpurge , Dovescape ... fill with stallers, and enjoy. Maybe you can mill yourself (or everyone!) to death with Temple Bell and Mind Over Matter .
I don't post much anymore.

I would suggest looking at the multiplayer guides in the multiplayer forum. The links should be in one of the stickied threads.
My Trade ThreadControl capabilities are in all the colors. The difference is in the way they say no.

Another suggestion could be awesome side-rules. What about chaos? Here's the outline given by Wizards: "Chaos Magic is a variant of Free-for-All that adds something called a "Chaos Deck" to the game to create new and exciting challenges for players. The Chaos deck consists of 20–30 cards selected by some of the players involved. The player who goes first is designated the Chaos player; before that player untaps at the beginning of his or her turn, that player flips a card from the Chaos Deck face up on the table. That card is considered "in effect" until the Chaos player flips a different card after a full series of turns. The active Chaos card isn't in play and can't be affected by spells or abilities. Any player may use any abilities granted by the card, or, if it has a specific effect, each player immediately resolves the effect. If the Chaos player is eliminated from the game, the next time that player's turn would have started, the mantle of Chaos player is passed to the first player to the left that's still in the game. Examples of cards that could be used for a Chaos decks include Armageddon (which destroys all lands when it's flipped over), Kumano, Master Yamabushi (which allows each player to repeatedly spend to deal 1 damage to a creature or player), and Howling Mine (which has each player to draw an additional card during his or her draw step). What cards will be in your Chaos Deck? That's up to you!"
Besides that, you could play a deck with cards that help other players out, as Chaostails suggested. Howling Mine -ish effects makes sure that all players get to play their deck in their proper fashion. Wrath-effects also help slow down the game.

Repay in Kind , Reverse the Sands , and the gamut of expensive-to-cast blue Timetwister variants all keep things interesting. Cheers!
