Looks like we're all noobish here, haha :P. I'll ask my cousin tomorrow how he runs his Vampire deck, he's won giant tournaments with it. If you're running an all black, Vampire Nocturnus is a must. It's like an upgraded Future Sight . Plus, If you're going to have all of that Mana with Quicksilver Amulet s, use it. Go ahead and run that Kalitas, Bloodchief of Ghet < /a> . Using Bleak Coven Vampires is nice if you use a lot of artifacts. Well, I tried. Tell me what strategies you have in mind, I can help you a lot more then!

The big question is what type of budget is there. If you don't own a Vampire Nocturnus and you have to go buy them, there expensive to get @ $24 ea. I would go buy more Bloodline Keeper or Captivating Vampire's @ $5 ea. Some vampire's you might want to get are staples for vampire decks are Vampire Nighthawk and Gatekeeper of Malakir .

I haven't been lucky enough to pull a vampire nocturnus yet. They card store thats in my town does have any. I check it every 2 weeks. gateskeeper of Malakir is the same way, haven't pulled it and i cant find it. I dont play in any tornaments or anything. I just play around with my friends. I kinda dont have a "type" i want to play. i just want it to stand its own against my friends elf deck. After gettin my butt kicked buy 25 1/1 elves it gets kinda old .. im also getting ready to put my cards i have for a zombie deck. yet again i cant decide which cards to keep and which ones to loose. :P thanks again guys for the help.

hey first thing i notice about your deck is that it is very spread out i.e not very many multiples i would try and focus on the good cards like sengir, urge to feed or bloodline keeper and cut out some of the mana ramping as they arent much help considering you have a fair mana curve i would also throw in an ascendant evincar to boost your large amount of black creatures as well as some bloodghast for some quick damage

What i found worked best was keep everything cheap, like 4-5 mana cost at most. the most expensive card in my deck is Sorin and he costs 6 mana... but the cheaper the cost the better the deck... at least for vampires. take a look at my deck, i have it posted in my blog... my deck wins about 80% of the time, of course i have modified it a bit since i posted it... i have been working on my vampire deck for around 3-4 years now and still havent perfected it... and it also depends on what route you are taking, do you want your deck to be a lifelink or just really powerful vamps, or a whole crap load of weak low costing vamps... what i did is i put a lot of weak low costing vamps in my deck, but also have vampire nocturnus, captivating vampire and bloodline keeper/lord of lineage which totally pump up my low costing vamps a lot.. also you could use some diabolic tutors or demonic tutors, and you definitely need vampire nighthawks. and blade of the bloodchief is a nice card to have also. sorry i kinda started rambling... well anyways i hope this helped.
