It just happened to me. Hard

Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite

I saw her looking to the left (where her lower hand is) wearing a red hood and holding a scythe. I just saw this card blown up and I was nowhere near close.

Also, Disciple of Griselbrand . I'm not sure how I saw this one so wrong. I saw a mummy-like creature all wrapped in cloth in the center of the picture.

How bout you? What cards have you interpreted completely wrong?

Enough to have it be adressed in an article.

She was born Oliver. And it'll soon be time for the floor show:

It was great when it all began
I was a regular  Sculptor  fan
But it was over when they had the plan
To start issuing more bans
Now the only thing that gives me hope
Is Modern, oh, wait, nope
Rose-tint my world keep me safe from my trouble and pain

I'm just one set old
And truly frightening to behold
And somebody should be told
My transforming can't be controlled
Now the only thing I trust
Is some Silence , it's a must
Rose-tint my world, keep me safe from my trouble and pain

After that, it starts to get forced. But hey, with all the horror tropes, someone had to do it.

I played with Prophetic Prism for months and didn't realize most of the art is covered by a closeup of a guy's face, and that he's holding the prism in his hands. I have no idea how I didn't see it. I just focused on the prism and assumed everything else was background. Now that I can't unsee it, I hate the art and wish I could go back to the fuzzy purple image my brain used to interpret.

I also used to screw up my perception of some monsters in Final Fantasy 3 (6). There was one rat-like monster in the first caves of the game when you're with Terra , Biggs, and Wedge, that I didn't see correctly at all. For years I thought he had a large face and was pointed one direction but it turns out he was actually facing the other direction and did not have a disproportionate head.

I'm no brain scientist but I think the majority of my errors are caused by 1) seeing something that's not there and 2) being content with what I perceive. I never looked at Prophetic Prism closely because from the start I assumed it was an abstract piece of art. It is not.

For a long time, I thought that Viscera Dragger 's left pauldron was his head. A hunched over zombie, shambling forward and clutching a scythe, looking at the ground because its armour weighs down its decrepit body. One day, I happened to notice the roaring ogre head on what I thought was a shoulder.

Also, I first read Serra Paladin as Serra Palin.
