I tried running an aggro build. I really like Geist of Saint Traft except I wish he had flying himself most of the time. I feel like to make the aggro version of UW competitive it needs either a lock piece or a combo to push it over the top. You might want to think about Ghost quarters at least in the side. There are lots of good manlands and ability lands and Primeval  Titan is still around to fetch them.

That's why you throw swords or Angelic Destiny on him...

Or if you want to get real crazy, against a ramp deck. Turn 4 I threw down 2 Honor of the Pure and swung for 10 with Geist, and 8 with my other creatures.

Couple ideas thrown together

26 land (4 inkmoth nexus 22 color mana)

2 Sun Titan
1 Phantasmal Image
3 Snapcaster Mage
2 Hero of Bladehold
4 Bladesplicer

2 Gideon Jura

1 Batterskull
2 Midnight Haunting
1 Timely Reinforcements
2 Dismember
4 Mana Leak
2 Dissipate
4 Think Twice
2 Sword of Feast and Famine
3 Oblivion Ring

1 card over still deciding what to drop. I kind of want room for 1 day of judgement as well maybe. Opinions?

Wow, how do we beat Wolf Run Green?

I'm not sure that Flashfreeze is going to cut it since Wurmcoil Engine and Inkmoth Nexus are also huge threats.

I really like that someone returns to the basic of Caw-Blade - aggro control deck with Sun titan recursion. Because that was the late game of the deck. I am running similar list just without Splicers (2xGeist) and 1 more image. I haven't found use for Haunting yet, it seems to me like the 3-drop slot is then quite clumped (considering the really important spells you want to play when you can support them with counter). Running War and Peace instead of Batterskull to speed up myself and just 3 think twices and I run 3-of Dissipate and mana leak. Tell me how you do with this deck, I took it to our last FNM and the only deck I really had no answer to was UB mill. Managed to shutdown Wolf run post-sideboard and black infect was troublesome till I topdecked Wrath. Finished 3rd out of 16 after splitting a tie in last game. Tezzeret was very good matchup, Werewolves as well, only thing I didn't see from the most played decks was Steel and Tokens.

Pack with counterspells to stop the ramp, disable titan while pushing with cheap creatures (snapcaster end of turn 2 is great for aggroing). As soon as you shutdown Titan, the deck is not so fast and you need to side in some artefact haste for Nexuses (not so bad stuff to do considering everyone plays some artefact you want to get rid of - shrines, wurmcoils, batterskull, lashwrithe, nexus, swords, spellskites and metamorphs, pods). If he sides in Thruns and Dungroves, Image is your friend or sweeping the board with Wrath. And snapcasters.

Mana Leak the Slagstorm, you should win every game.

The single biggest thing keeping Flare down is manabase. A third colour is NEVER free, as the Caw players learned last season.

while i usually agree with this, i have been running a few Black sorces (2 drowned cat, 1 isolated) just to save me some life on dismember and to hit the flashback on FA...it has come with VERY little drawback for my consistancy, but an unexpected advantage: When playing a draw-go style early game, if i hit my Black land on T4 it will often eat up there LD (Ghost quarter, acidic slime etc) right away. I have had a couple guys cast slime off of there 6 mana insted of titan because they saw my new color and thought they were screwing me off of a color....not totally sure that its worth going out of your way for, but might be worth concedering....also, spellbomb is better when it cantrips

To me, there is no such thing as an evil personality trait or spiritual condition. There is only sin, concrete and deliberate action that is simply wrong.
It is what happens when one goes against one's nature. It germinates in the shadow of risks untaken. It ripens in power exorcised. Beings like us can take risks no one else can, and exorcise power no one else has. We have the greatest capacity for sin, through action, or inaction.

Meh, not sure whether this is entirely accurate, at least for concept decks. Sometimes an unrefined idea cannot beat the top dogs at first, but with a few suggestions and heavy playtesting, they might get there. Islands' diamond in the rough lists are a good rebuttal to your statement.

Islands' decks are more gazing into the abyss of madness and madness staring back at you. With Manamorphose.

LMAO.

Solar Flare is basically struggling in this format PURELY for manabase reasons.

You're playing a lower curve deck with less ally duals. Your mana is much worse.

Three-colour mana wasn't free in Zendikar, and we had a lot better mana fix then.

Your credibility is shot - three colour is almost unplayable.
