I feel you're missing out without Delver, and 6 boosters is too many. I'd cut the Pike, because you're not really all-in on instants and sorceries like the Delver lists.
It's really not even about giving niche cards to black.
It should be about giving black cards to Niche.

With using Finkel's Delver list from Honolulu as a reference point, what is the general train of thought on maybe replacing vapor snags with Honor of the Pure? It doesn't help Delver but works well with the other spells. Thoughts? Maybe a different 4 cards to remove for HotP?

Doable, but then you have practically no removal so you will scoop to a large number of guys.

I was concerned about that too. I guess the only reason I'm thinking about this is to make the deck a tad faster and more resiliant against sweeepers. Perhaps tighter play is the only answer here.

Here's a list I ran in the weeks prior to Pro Tour Hawaii. I posted the list in the Standard help section under "Spirit Platoon Deck". Honor of the Pure actually worked pretty well in this deck, allowng me to out last Curse of Death's Hold and other traditional foils to the Delver decks. Many people actually mistook my version for a run-of-the-mill Delver deck and side-boarded in artifact hate. Most of my games were won via flashing back Midnight Haunting end of turn and beating in on my opponent with pumped up spirit flyers. Ended up top 4ing three times, undefeated once, with this deck on Friday Night Magic against Humans, other Delver decks, G/R Wolfrun and the Sorin Token decks that popped up for a while after release. As soon as a version of it made it to the Top 8 in Hawaii, I decided that the jig was up and went with another build. Still very playable with a few tweeks. 22 Lands 4x Seachrome Coast 4x Glacial Fortress 3x Moorland Haunt 7x Island 4x Plains
15 Creatures 1x Dungeon Giests 3x Giest of St. Traft 4x Drogskul Captain 3x Snapcaster Mage 4x Delver of Secrets
23 Sorceries/Instants/Enchantments 4x Ponder 3x Mana Leak 3x Dissipate 3x Honor of the Pure 4x Midnight Haunting 4x Vapor Snag 2x Gitaxian Probe 15 Side Board 3x Phantasmal Image 3x Surgical Extraction 2x Revoke Existance 2x Sword of War and Peace 3x Day of Judgement 2x Timely Reinforcements

I been playing the Delver deck awhile( with some wolfrun inbetween). But I just have one question. How has everyone been handling the Craig Wescoe BW Tokens decks? I played against it at last FNM and I murdered it game 1 with 3 Delvers. Game 2 was close. But game 3 was just bad for me(ofcourse the guy put me on tilt by accusing me of cheating when I played end of turn thought scours and snapcasters, he didn't know what any of my cards did, let alone his own.)I just couldn't seem to gain an edge. At one point all looked to be on my side but then it all went south quick. So what is everyones sideboard plans against it? My weapons of choice are corrosive gale ratchet bomb revoke existence and as many anthems as there are with Humans and tokens plus the various other decks in my meta I thought paraselene .

Here's the list I ran at this past FNM:
4 x Delver of Secrets 4 x Invisible Stalker 3 x Restoration Angel 4 x Snapcaster Mage 1 x Phantasmal Image
4 x Vapor Snag 2 x Thought Scour 4 x Mana Leak 1 x Unsummon 3 x Gitaxian Probe 1 x Faith's Shield 4 x Ponder 1 x Spectral Flight
2 x Runechanter's Pike 1 x Sword of War and Peace
4 x Glacial Fortress 4 x Seachrome Coast 2 x Ghost Quarter 2 x Moorland Haunt 8 x Island 1 x Plains
Sideboard 1 x Dissipate 1 x Flashfreeze 1 x Sword of Feast and Famine 2 x Day of Judgment 2 x Mental Misstep 1 x Celestial Purge 1 x Ratchet Bomb 1 x Steel Sabotage 1 x Amass the Components 1 x Phyrexian Metamorph 2 x Timely Reinforcements 1 x Phantasmal Image
Couple of things: (1) I decided to go the Invisible Stalker route since the previous week there were a number of Delver decks, and I got tired of Geist of St. Traft dying all the time. Additionally, Phantasmal Image was there in force too, and I just like the idea of smacking opponents with unblockable creatures that have Runechanter's Pike or a Sword equipped. It makes for quick games. (2) The Spectral Flight was unnecessary. I didn't see it all night and even if I had it is just lackluster compared to a Sword or a Pike. (3) In my meta, Unsummon > Mana Leak. In fact, Negate would have been better. The times when Mana Leak was available, it was completely irrelevant. I would almost prefer Negate and maybe even Divination over Mana Leak if I can find the room.
I will most likely run this list again this week with some of the tweaks I have pointed out. Suggestions and comments are welcome.

Faith's Shield and Spectral Flight are ick. Unsummon is supremely weird. Why not Gut Shot or Dismember?
I think you're innaccurately undervaluing Mana Leak. Either way don't play Divination.
I don't have much confidence in Stalker. I just see him being the proverbial twenty-turn clock a little too often. Phantasmal Image is a thing, but if you're not running GoST, I'd at least prefer Blade Splicer. Your Angels are also marginally less high-impact if you're playing Stalkers over a stronger threat.
I also dislike the state of your sideboard. You don't have any trump cards, which is tricky. I think having either a 6 drop, walkers, or a couple Hero of Bladehold to provide some lategame reach/trump is just useful. What's Metamorph for? You already run Swords. Just go another Image if you really want the clone. Also not hot about Steel Sabotage. Are there that many artifacts you really care about?
Welcome to 2012. Blue has the most efficient creatures, black has the all-in monocolored aggro deck, the most controlling deck in the format is green-red, control decks lose to aggro in attrition wars, and counterspells aren't an answer to fatties.
Pack Rat is like Bitterblossom and Tarmogoyf had a black baby.
