// Lands // Lands 4 [ISD] Woodland Cemetery 9 [SOM] Swamp (3) 1 [NPH] Phyrexia's Core 10 [9E] Forest (2)
// Creatures 1 [SOM] Moriok Replica 2 [SOM] Sylvok Replica 1 [MBS] Phyrexian Revoker 4 [ISD] Typhoid Rats 2 [NPH] Phyrexian Metamorph 4 [MBS] Glissa, the Traitor 4 [M12] Llanowar Elves 4 [ISD] Ambush Viper 1 [SOM] Wurmcoil Engine 2 [M10] Acidic Slime 1 [M12] Birds of Paradise
// Spells 4 [MBS] Mortarpod 3 [ISD] Garruk Relentless 3 [MBS] Sword of Feast and Famine
// Sideboard SB: 1 [M10] Acidic Slime SB: 3 [MBS] Thrun, the Last Troll SB: 3 [ISD] Liliana of the Veil SB: 4 [NPH] Beast Within SB: 4 [ISD] Bramblecrush
Just an experiment with the Deathtouch-Mortarpod synergy. Glissa is there to return threats later on in the game, and to get a little value via the Replicas and Metamorph. Swords for the win-con to get past the R/x and W/x Aggro decks. Garruk's -3 is the other win-con. Thrun will probably be in the side versus Control. Flare doesn't like trading huge fatties for Rats/Vipers/Wolf tokens. Beast Within, Sylovk Replica, and Revoker to try and shut down Pod.
Thoughts on the concept?

i love your decks
My life as a pigeon. It was a direct statement. I didn't know that addressing you directly would have that effect on you. Please forgive me lil' lady. I might be an outlaw, but I'm a gentleman first; and your respect is very important to me. >mfw

Thanks. Ya, Mage ran through my mind, but its ability is just so expensive. Another card that intrigued me was Painsmith because the ability is free when you play an artifact. That way, you can cast an artifact, give one of your artifact creatures deathtouch, shoot them, and then get them back immediately with Glissa. But that seemed a little too cute and relies on you to have some type of CA engine to keep drawing into artiacts. Liliana is def. in the sideboard to deal with U/W Aggro. Crusader is a b****, as is a Destiny'd Geist.

I'm still experimenting with win-cons. Most of the time, I rely on Swords to end the game. I think a six-drop would really mess with the curve. I'm only running 24 lands atm, and almost no card draw. If you were to try out a finisher at the six-spot, I would definitely recommend Wurmcoil Engine . That card is incredible in this type of deck. Play him, shoot him, get two 3/3 tokens (one with deathtouch) and return it with Glissa.

Not sold on SoWaP here, but I like the concept.
It's really not even about giving niche cards to black.
It should be about giving black cards to Niche.

Ya, now that I've been working with the deck a little more, I think I might like SoFaF better or maybe a 2-1 split in favor of FaF. I don't think WaP increases the clock enough to warrant it over a card that gives you additional mana to re-equip/play more threats.
