I probably never looked at the tutorial when I first downloaded Duels 2012, but just now I noticed there's 2 ability keywords - Fading and Shadow - that I'm almost certain aren't on any cards currently in the game (maybe in one of the puzzle challenges I don't remember). I suppose Fear is also in that category but it's apparently just an old keyword that would now be called Intimidate on a black creature, and Intimidate arrived in the first expansion. I'm not a paper player, so I had to look up what these even mean. Neither one sounds like a fun mechanic, but it's interesting that these particular ones were included when there are a lot of keywords that would conceivably require a symbol. I guess there's no Infect deck coming in future DLC, but perhaps one of the deck designers had hopes for a fading/proliferate combo deck. Why go through the trouble of designing a symbol for a keyword if you're never going to use it?

Fading is on Blastoderm , which is in a graveyard for I think one of the hard Archenemy puzzles. I assume shadow is something similar.

Fading is basically like time counters, it limits the number of turns a permanent is in play. During each of its controller's upkeeps, that player removes one fade counter from the permanent. If the player cannot remove a fade counter, he or she must sacrifice the permanent.
An attacking creature with shadow can only be blocked by a defending creature with shadow, and a defending creature with shadow can only block an attacking creature with shadow. Shadow is found on black, white or blue creatures, while a few red and green creatures are able to block shadow creatures.

Reading all the words in the first post of a thread is tech.

Not sure if you're aware - but if you zoom on a card you can then look at 'More Info' (RB on Xbox i think. unsure on other platforms) - it will detail what abilities that card has

Yeah, the keywords are in there for completeness as there are cards with those abilities in the challenges. Blastoderm as already mention is in one of them, and there was Nether Traitor in one of the new ones. I'm sure there are a few others (like for fear), but I'm not quite well versed on the challenges as I usually do them once and be done with them.
