I'm sick as hell right now, so I'm going to be a little more brief than usual. Firstly, I am super sorry this took as long as it did. Refresher: This round was a double format Artist Draft, players had to pick 5 artists from Magic history, and then use cards from those artists alone to build Standard and Legacy legal decks. Decks would be judged out of 10 point, and compete in match play. Match play (best 3 out of 5) 5 points for a win -1 for every game lost 0 points for a loss +1 for every game won Each format would be given seperate league points, which would be added to the total points for the season 5 points for first 3 points for second 1 point for third Heading into the first round, the standings looked like this. 13 Niche 10 FIRE_REIGN_2_02 9 Gomorrah Standard Decklists

Congrats Niche. I knew you had a nice Mono-Black deck on your hands after you picked Nielsen and Chippy (Blocking me from the Scepter). Good work Gom. While your Standard deck looks kinda meh, I do really like your old-school U/W Control for Legacy. Edit: And Niche, nice next leveling by not going the obvious Natural Order route. I was still unsure if you had another fatty in your pool (4 Tariff in the board).

Thanks for pulling the extra work to get it done, RTA.
I felt a little dirty with the way I built my MBC, but I scoped everyone's card pools and decided what put me in the best position to deal with it. Plus, consistency of the manabase was undeniable.
I was rather angry about my Legacy pool. I ended up drafting towards a Natural Order Rock build... and got angry at the drafts I put together. I scrapped it and tried a doran rock. Scrapped it. In the end I assumed everyone else was having as much trouble as I was so I decided to focus on my most degenerate interaction... Pro 4 color.deck + Scepter Chant. The Aether Vial in the board was for Gomorrah's JTMS deck(and scourglass). The big joke is it wasn't even battled. C'est la vie.
I was really worried about this round. FR2 is a strong builder and Gomorrah got in the tops for a reason. Good round everyone.
I CAN HAZ CUSTOM TITLE?!?!
EDIT: FR2, yeah I assumed you guys zero'd in on my access to Natural Order + 1cc accelerators, e-witness, and hulk. I couldn't make it good enough, or fast enough... and so I tossed it because I couldn't make it Kung Fu enough to withstand hate without Rob Alexander. And my white deck looked a lot more retarded on completion.
Boasts?

Ya, your Legacy deck would've laughed at mine. Fetters, StP, Batterskull, and SoLaS? gg Zoo. Anyways, good round everyone. Look forward to seeing you guys back for Season 2. Thanks again to RTA, the testers, and the judges for making this season very enjoyable.

I was incredibly busy with thing IRL, and kinda still am. Knew my deck would come out pretty bad. Count me out for the next IDB, I've basically quit magic now that I'm in college.

I'm kind of sad at the community at large for not paying any attention to the final results.

I paid attention, although i figured you were going to win (no offense to everyone else). I looked over cardpools a bit knew that you had the edge over everyone.

I knew the results, I helped Ant a bit with judging and playing the lists since some of his plans followed through. Some basic notes, from the top of my head. LEGACY: Gom: Its a control deck, but you lack a big finisher....the only game I won against Zoo was when I dropped a mote and then sand bagged around 15 turns until I could kill all his squadron hawks (At this point he could not Fauna for enchantment destruction because he did not have any boarded in.). Your deck would have possibly been the best with some some more win-cons. FR2: A take on Zoo, standard stuff but well made and I liked the singleton Hex. Niche: Cannot really remember my previous comments but atleast grading wise, it was not my favorite list. STANDARD: Niche: You made a well constructed MBC list specially for the pools provided. That being said I liked the construction, but did not score it that well on the innovative side considering its you. It would be like me making a rock list :D I was the pilot for some of the matches and it worked quite well. I think I 3-0'ed one deck and one game I kept a mediocre hand to test the deck, and it came through just fine. FR2: You had a good bomby list it worked, ramp out a bunch of beaters. Gom: Probley my favorite list, just with how it plays out. Not to much to say. GOOD JOB EVERYONE! YOU ALL DID GREAT. End of Season dance party commence!

Ouch, you dinged me for making an MBC list eh? =p
That's alright. My draft didn't go as excitingly as I'd hoped. Starting round 1 I wanted to go for a far more creative legacy deck but the cards I wanted did not help my standard pool at all. In the end I could present an 'ok', yet creative list... but my match wins were going to be in question. And if I tried to make it too good and creative I'd have a real garbage standard deck. So I lost a lot of legacy pop to draft standard.
In the end I decided I needed my decks to consistently perform on the really tight card pools and while I personally loathe the concept of a white based hate deck... it was something I had to put out there to win. I like winning. Plus it gave me Faith's Fetters and i knew FR was fielding aggro and Gom was throwing out JTMS. Seemed like a ridiculous 'meta wrecker' that never got a chance to shine.

Well one category is creativity and lets be honest, it just wasnt that creative :D
