3. Where the heck is divine offering? How is this card not maindeckable? I'd sooner run 2 offerings than 2 O-rings.
No way. This isn't original Mirrodin block, there is no Affinity boogeyman in the format. Divine Offering is a great sideboard option (and I plan on running 2-3 there), but maindeck? It misses against too many decks. I'll take a slower catch-all versus a better but much more narrow answer.

Elesh Norn. Wow. I always personally thought Elesh Norn would be playable if she were castable. Being able to recur her OR hardcast her in a control deck is great. Pod just cries, as a lot of their creatures are small dudes, helping to deny pod shenanigans even if the pod itself is on the field. Also out of dismember range, which is huge. Maybe it's just because i'm such a utility control player, but i prefer Elesh Norn>Grave Titan and wurmcoil despite being one more mana. I am testing a fatty package of 1 Elesh Norn 1 Grave Titan 1 Sun Titan 1 Frost Titan 1 Consecrated Sphinx 1 Sheoldred with a wurmcoil in the side. I am thinking of taking out the grave titan and putting in wurmcoil. More and more I'm not as impressed with grave titan's ridiculous game ending ability when compared to Wurmcoil's lifelink. *shrug* i think im' just weird

Wouldn't it make more sense if you're running Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite , to be using more Grave Titans for the 4/4 tokens? Elesh also makes Dismember able to kill the bigger threats.

Chancellor just seems like a terrible card in a deck that works off incremental card and tempo advantage. [...]Plus, to get any reasonable chance for it's counter ability to be relevant, you have to run 4. 4 fatties that require all 4 to be in play to be relevant is terrible. Sounds bad.
FTFY.
Chancellor terrible. Eiher they lose their first realatively useless spell to get that Spike out of the way, and lose tempo, or they are a bad player, but not worse than me because I'm playing a terrible card, and wait a turn to play their one-drop on turn 2, losing tempo. Not to mention turn 2 is when you have leak and Pox mana even though the deck doesn't run Pox in this iteration because you don't get the massive card advantage provided by the original list, not that most one-drops are worth leaking. And if they opened without a one-drop, or you Despised it?
If you don't open with Chancellor, you still have an evasive, Dismember-surviving body that is worse than a titan, beats for 5, and punishes their tempo in a miniscule amount. Reanimating her on turn 4 is not that bad, but worse than a real titan, and dropping her on turn 6 or 7 means that you've already made a mistake by playing her in the first place, and ANY 7-drop will not be in the deck, because you already have 4 of your win-con slots filled by this terrible card. This one just happens to press your advantage while trying to answer their titan.
FTFY. See what I did there? Stop trying to push Chancellor in every deck you build. We get it, you like the card, but its not anywhere close to comparable to a titan and liking a card doesn't make it a good card. I love Camel, but you don't see me trying to put it into every deck I try to play. Maybe if it cost 5 we might talk, but it doesn't even come out before a titan. The card is bad, end of story, thanks for playing, but you lose, so you get nothing. Good day, sir.

This is the best list that has been posted for quite a few pages. However, you really don't need 3 unburial rites, I vote you drop one, add a liliana. And Elesh Norn isn't my favorite of the fatties, nor Sheoldred, because you can't reliably hardcast them to be relevant. But if you are going to run one of them, make it Sheoldred.

I do see what you did there. You changed some of the words so that the new message was incorrect. Very cool.
I've literally made 2 decks out of several hundred with Chancellor of the Annex. I don't push it in very deck I build because I like it, I push it in this deck because it's good for this specific deck. I don't see how "you get it, I like the card" when I haven't even used it seriously in anything except this deck and Fermata?
I'm sorry that you don't understand how to use Chancellor effectively, but I'm not sure how to change that if you don't listen to explanations.

I think you could run Chancellor if you had Compulsive Research. The problem with Chancellors is that they are seriously dead weight in your hand after T0. Alchemy doesn't let you clear out Chaff from your hand like Research does, so you become heavily reliant on Lil, which I don't think is enough.
It's really not even about giving niche cards to black.
It should be about giving black cards to Niche.

I told you, i'm weird. But if I have two fatties on the field anyway, any combination should just win me the game. Be it sphinx+elesh to draw massive cards to protect my stuff and just ride it, be it Sun Titan+Elesh for massive card advantage, or wurmcoil+elesh in case i'm still afraid of them trying to kill me on the backswing. In all other situations, I think I value wurmcoil slightly more only because of the lifelink of the wurmcoil as opposed to the extra 2 bodies from grave titan. I'm not sure. I haven't done the switch yet, and just to be clear in no way is grave titan bad. Now this thing about chancellor...who has done actual testing on it?

chancelllor is terrible, not sure why its even a debate.
worthwhile "finisher" creatures for this deck are titans, wurms, sphinx... maybe elish norn... maybe
Sheoldred seems good here, just because of the incremental board advantage it can generate
maybe.... maybe....
Oh come on, it won't kill you to agree with me, between her own reanimation, and them sacrificing a guy on their turn, and a guy on your turn if you pop Lil or doom blade a guy. And with all th aggro that'll be running about

on chancellor: you REALLY don't want to spend 7 mana on something that dies to removal while leaving you absolutely nothing. Chancellor is horrible to topdeck, too high cost for something that doesn't win you the game by resolving, and generally not that good. The tempo shift of her ability while on the battlefield is only 1 mana, which isn't that good. spelltithe enforcer never saw any play in solar flare at 5 mana, why should this? The tempo shift of her turn 0 ability is ok I suppose, but a t2 ponder or t3 sphere of the suns clears it away, leaving you -1 valuable card. so, in conclusion, she's bad when you hardcast her, horrible when you topdeck her, and just "meh" when you get her in your opener. On smallpox: Another bad card. First off, it's BB in a 3 color deck. Second, since you're playing control, the land destruction will probably hurt you more than your opponent. Third, the advantage of ditching a card isn't that great, since most of our cards are significantly worse when in the graveyard. Finally, you should be playing a mana stone or mana stone on a stick turn 2. on divine reckoning: This doesn't fulfill the essential function of doj: A reset button. Enemy titans and praetors will stick around.

It was revealed to me in a dream. All the cards were in my dream except for three slots which I plugged in as Vault Skirge.
FULL DISCLOSURE: The dream was post AVR so there was a copy of Slayer's Stronghold. I decided to keep it pre AVR in my post here.
EDIT: I just remembered. The Skirges might have been 2x Whipflare and 1x something else, probably War and Peace.
EDIT2: Currently 4-0 in my first four games with this. My opponents have been very angry. I fought off a Wurmcoil from Grixis for six turns before I found my second Dispatch. Jeez, I can do a lot of damage.
EDIT3: Streak broken. Lost to an unexpected Overrun. Cracking a Shrine for 10 wasn't enough.
