Is it really so hard to target something twice? I play Kira as a general, and its not usually a problem for someone to target with Maze of Ith or something so someone else can blast her away with spot removal. Good? Yes. Ban worthy? No. The problem is that you are unwilling to adapt your playstyle to deal with her.
unwilling to adapt? It isn't just me. We had an EDH tourney today. 20 participants. The guy with Kira won. Why? It wouldn't die...and when it finally did, it was brought back...and again...and again...Have you people seriously not looked at Mimeoplasm and thought about just what kind of cards go into decks like that? Kira, itself, isn't the problem. It's the type of deck that it's played in.
Doomblade into Go for the throat on Kira. It dies. He brings it back, easily. The only real answer to it is to path or swords it...unless someone else has an effective way to take it out of the game without destroying it, because 2 out of 99 cards is hard to get at the right time..and the fact that you need 2 types of targeting spells/abilities, both on the same turn, is just ridiculous...
It sounds to me like you need more graveyard hate. Also, if you're in blue, try counterspells. White? Try exile/wrath effects. Black? You shouldn't be having trouble with creatures. Red? Kira has a small body. Should be easy to kill. Green? Uhm, well, your creature should be bigger anyway. And don't forget, there are always artifacts to fill in what your color cant handle.
I don't post much anymore.

effective graveyard hate would be awesome, but I can't think of much that I don't already have. I also need to find more exile...I have 4 exiles in my deck, 2 can be destroyed. Any ideas? lol

Usually my solution for Kira are clone effects on creatures that ignore targeting. Wait a second... you said it ISN'T his general?! LOL. If it were his general I would say it would be more of a pain in the neck. DolZero is right though, get used to playing against Kira. All my friends and I use her when they can because she's a quality creature. Funniest way to break target shield? Neurok Transmuter . Besides, your railing away at other members that disagree with you isn't going to change the concensus that she isn't gamebreaking.

I am going to go out on a limb and say that your play group probably needs to develop their EDH decks. If no one could pull out a Hallowed Burial , Hinder , Spell Crumple or something equivilant to deal with those cards, then that is a problem that isnt on the Kira players end. If Kira really was such a problem, I probably would have destroyed every deck at that tournament.

Look, this might just be me, but in all honesty, if you have no answers to Kira, you really need to learn how to play EDH. Unless you are playing mono-green, there has to be an answer. The fact that 19 decks lost to Kira in a Mimeoplasm deck is kinda sad. My favorite thing to do to Mimeoplasm EDH is to tutor for and cast Identity Crisis on a motha. Despite what color, you still have Grafdigger's Cage , Relic of Progenitus , and other stuff such as OStone/Disk/All is Dust. That isn't Kira's Fault. It's your playgroup's fault.
