so, niche, want to make a monogreen deck together? I'll start. dungrove elder x4 green sun's zenith x4 acidic slime x1-3 viridian corrupter x1 possible other components: -wurmcoil -karn -llanowar elves -rampant growth -various garruks -thrun -prey upon we're a bit short on high-end gsz targets though

It was revealed to me in a dream. All the cards were in my dream except for three slots which I plugged in as Vault Skirge.
FULL DISCLOSURE: The dream was post AVR so there was a copy of Slayer's Stronghold. I decided to keep it pre AVR in my post here.
EDIT: I just remembered. The Skirges might have been 2x Whipflare and 1x something else, probably War and Peace.
EDIT2: Currently 4-0 in my first four games with this. My opponents have been very angry. I fought off a Wurmcoil from Grixis for six turns before I found my second Dispatch. Jeez, I can do a lot of damage.
EDIT3: Streak broken. Lost to an unexpected Overrun. Cracking a Shrine for 10 wasn't enough.
How Kedi tests his decks: Spoiler:

also, I've been playtesting this deck in my sleep today that kinda freaked me out

In this meta? You're doin it wrong. Start with: 4 Dungrove Elder 4 Acidic Slime 2-3 Green Sun's Zenith 4 Skinshifter 2-3 Thrun 4 Beast Within 4 Dismember 3 Bramblecrush And then some form of draw/engine/card advantage. Strongly look at Make a Wish . Not joking. And Ghost Quarter to be able to maximize land destruction if your opponent missed a step and you hit multiple slimes/brambles. Feels rude. I also want to consider variants with Boneyard Wurm and some self sacrificing creatures (replicas, myrs, solemns). Tons of ideas; no idea where to take it.

People are ignoring this card a lot and I'm not reallly sure why. It basically says "Draw two non-land cards". It costs one more than Divination, but the effect seems slightly more powerful. The most important point, however, is that it's UNCONDITIONAL CARD DRAW in GREEN. Unless you consider cards being in your graveyard a condition. If none of your stuff is dying, however, you should just be winning anyway.
Stop using "IMO" in sentences that aren't opinion. If you don't think a deck will ever be tier 1, that's great - but it's not an opinion. It's a prediction of the future. I identify as neither male nor female. You may refer to me with either gender pronoun or the singular they, whichever suits you best. ^_^ Re: Dismember Everybody knows that having your awesome creatures killed before they can do anything is frustrating, but the Red mage in me doesn't seem to understand why it's so bad when his creatures spontaneously combust into Flame Javelin s and make his opponent discard something at the same time.

Isn't Hunter's Insight way way way better in a deck with Thrun and Dungrove Elder?

so... its conditional.
and its not as if you are somehow really gauranteed to have targets (or worthwhile targets). plus, it doesn't dig, it recovers. this is a big difference.

If you're hitting them, you're not exactly in a bad position. On the other hand, if you are in a bad position (not able to hit them), the card is completely dead.

Again, the point is that you're playing a green deck and if your dudes aren't dying you're winning anyway, so it acts like unconditional card draw. It does recover rather than dig, but in mono green decks running Dungrove Elder/Thrun/etc., that's fine. Racasting stuff you've already done isn't a bad thing (like it would be if you were playing a bunch of mana dorks... which Dungrove Elder decks should NOT be doing, even though I've seen it).

The question though is is it a better choice than Lead the Stampede? That costs 1 less mana, which is relevant, since you need mana to cast whatever comes back to your hand.

A) You don't need to cast it immediately...
B) Lead the Stampede is better in decks built with it in mind. This is better in random G/x aggro (which won't have as many creatures).

Some of your logic re: make a wish is becoming perilously close to that used to justify WoG in WW.
It's really not even about giving niche cards to black.
It should be about giving black cards to Niche.
