All the cards you liste have, at some time, been restricted. They no longer are. This is because they are not powerful enough to restrict any more.
Indeed, Maze of Ith 
was not restricted because it was considered too powerful. It was restricted because it tended to result in long games, at least with the cards available in 1994/95. (It was quite normal for a deck's wincon to consist of two Serra Angel 
s in those days. If I had three Mazes on the battlefield, no Angel would ever get through to hurt me.

I wouldn't play Brain Geyser or Maze of Ith in a budget, casual, mono-blue control deck. In a format where those were the only two legal cards.
