Looks like a lot of fun. I like the interaction between the Splicers and Venser and Momentary Blink .Blade Splicer could possibly boost the decks power level, but it's a pricey card. Nearly everything in the deck is Standard, which makes Energy Tap and High Tide seem kind of odd, but I see how they dramatically improve your ability to power out more large Golems. I don't really see any need for Seachrome Coast . You have a lot of colorless spells, I'd throw in a few Dread Statuary .
The Blade Splicer is the only one of that series that I haven't been able to acquire. Didn't pull any from the booster box, fat pack, and several sealed & draft events I've attended; haven't seen any for sale at any of the local card shops either, and no one I've traded with have had any. Guess that's why it's pricey!
The Momentary Blink aren't standard either, and they're a keystone of the deck. That brings up an interesting off-topic thought I've had for a while now... I find it somewhat odd how often on this particular forum people make comments like this. I'm not griping or saying you're wrong to make the comment, just pointing out that I posted the list here because it's a casual, for fun deck. I don't try to make any of my decks standard or close to it; it's just that as I've only been playing for 2 1/2 years and only purchasing cards for 1, most of my card pool IS standard for that reason. I got the High Tide s and Energy Tap s through a trade with a friend, and the Momentary Blink I purchased online specifically for this deck.
I ran the Seachrome Coast and Glacial Fortress because I wanted my land pool to be a little more versatile. I know I'm running a lot of colorless stuff but all of the key cards in the deck that let it do it's main thing require either white or blue.
I like the Dread Statuary idea, but I don't have any. Maybe I'll order some the next time I'm doing an online purchase.
