Spellskite CAN NOT change the target of journey to nowhere That's because JTN is not an auro, and before it resolves does not have a target. Right?

Right?
JtN itself does not have a target, but its triggered ability does, and Spellskite CAN change the target of the ability.

got it - so the ETB ability is what is being changed.
Then for normal aura spells, spellskite ability kicks in as the spell is cast but before it resolves.
I think I am starting to understand.

Player 1 cast Journey to Nowhere. The Journey spell has no target; there's nothing to Spellkite change here, so Player 2 pass. Journey to Nowhere resolves and enters the battlefield. It's "enters the battlefield" triggered ability triggers and goes to the stack; Player 1 chooses Player 2's creature as the target. Player 2 activate Spellkite's ability, targeting Journey's ability on the stack. That way, Journey to Nowhere's ability ends up exiling Spellkite. Then for normal aura spells
"Normal" aura spells, as oposed to what? Something is either an aura or not; Journey simply is not an aura, and doesn't work like one in any way.
