Sideboard has Traumatize, Jace's Erasure, and Tome Scour, so can push a mill angle that way by reducing the creature count (likely merfolk spy and maritime guard go out).

Blue/White flyers is the best draft strategy in M11. Curve out and don't stop swinging. Bounce and pacifism/condemn keep the tempo, and inspired charge makes it hard to lose.

******************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************** From Mark Rosewater's Tumblr: the0uroboros asked: How in the same set can we have a hexproof, unsacrificable(not a word) creature AND a land that makes it uncounterable. How does this lead to interactive play? I believe I’m able to play my creature and you have to deal with it is much more interactive than you counter my creature. ******************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************** Post #777

True post count: 9,900 Thanks Wotc for not counting archived posts. If I post without capital letters than means I'm posting from my phone. For some reason it hates typing capital letters. Go_Texans on MTGO.

After grabbing Chandra's Outrage , I tried not to commit to a second color too quickly. I ended up with a decent R/u deck without any of the bombs the rest of the table got. Hopefully the good card advantage and burn suites would carry the deck. The double Magma Phoenix over on chair six will be particularly tough to face. Picks w/o commentary:

Round 1:
We start off with a difficult first pick. For me, it came down to commit to red with the Chandra's Outrage , go for one of my all-time favorite cards Foresee , or grab the white flyer (with a sleight nod to the Cultivate ). I decided removal is king, and went for the red burn spell.
Chandra's Outrage
Now that I had a double red card, I was hesitant to select a second color with the second pick, so I opted for the flexible artifact creature. This could have easily been Mana Leak , Gravedigger , or Sylvan Ranger if I wasn't trying so hard to stay open. The two red cards didn't entice me at all, though.
Stone Golem
Sign in Blood , Greater Basilisk , and Mana Leak (again) all tempt me to pick a second color, but I held strong and grabbed the red beater.
Berserkers of Blood Ridge
Y'know what likes a lot of mountains? Fiery Hellhound . Finally an easy pick!
Fiery Hellhound
I hate grabbing a Fire Servant without knowing if I will be able to support it, so I have Canyon Minotaur , Act of Treason , and Assassinate . I grabbed the red sorcery because I think I can grab some Fling s and throwing your oppenent's stuff at them is fun. Plus on the off chance that the Fire Servant wheels, I should be set up to take it.
Act of Treason
I looked at Scroll Thief for a second, but it wasn't quite juicy enough to jump the mono-red ship for. I didn't take the second Berserkers of Blood Ridge because I was worried about my mana curve being top-heavy as I already had two five-drops. In hind-sight, this was a mistake, because I ended up with a card I didn't even maindeck.
Vulshok Berserker
Shoot! I should have grabbed that Scroll Thief ! That's okay, my Fiery Hellhound loves to be unblockable as well.
Goblin Tunneler
The Augury Owl looks nice, but the Fling is a very welcome sight.
Fling
I wheeled the Cultivate ? Oh well, got to nab the Manic Vandal because I know someone is going to try to ruin my day with an artifact.
Manic Vandal
At this point, the wall might make it in. We still don't have a second color.
Wall of Frost
Yes! Wheeled a second Fling !
Fling
Wall of Vines Goblin Piker Goldenglow Moth Swamp
Round 2:
Look at that juicy blue: Sleep , Aether Adept , and Preordain . I grab the powerful equipment instead. I am still not ready to branch out of red yet. It wasn't easy, though.
Whispersilk Cloak
Liliana's Specter is tempting, but I stay red. I should have grabbed the Fling , but I picked the Lava Axe in hopes that the Fling would wheel and I would see a Fire Servant .
Lava Axe
I decide again to stay on target and grab the Fling -loving Arc Runner over the Sign in Blood , Rise from the Grave , and Cloud Crusader .
Arc Runner
Snap pick.
Prodigal Pyromancer
Again I forgo the Berserkers of Blood Ridge for a slightly cheaper beater.
Canyon Minotaur
Aha! Now we can jump ship. P2P6 Preordain . Thank you! (Another sleight nod to the Cultivate ).
Preordain
This pick should have been a Terramorphic Expanse , but I blew it. I guess I was excited to finally be in blue.
Unsummon
Nothing exciting for the rest of pack 2.
Arc Runner Goblin Balloon Brigade Unsummon Llanowar Elves Phantom Beast Pyretic Ritual Hunters' Feast Plains
Round 3:
Outrageous Outrage #2.
Chandra's Outrage
This pick came down to Augury Owl , Preordain , and Pacifism . I cut Pacifism (prematurely?) and decided I'd rather have the cantrip than the flyer.
Preordain
Now here was an internal struggle. Pyroclasm vs. Foresee . Pyroclasm is strong, but I just love everything about Foresee . Was this a mistake?
Foresee
Act of Treason number two or Fling number three? I decide to even them out because I would rather throw your creatures at you than mine.
Act of Treason
I get the Augury Owl anyway.
Augury Owl
Happy, happy day!
Foresee
I finished off the draft with a couple of sideboard cards and a p3p11 Armored Cancrix that actually made it into my deck.
