I actually had the same thought, myself, a while back.  And managed to get someone to actually draw the thing, too

I only got the Counterpunch deck, but I really, really liked the insert that came with it explaining Ghave's origins. At first I thought it seemed a bit cliché (Humans are the bad guys?), but a second reading made me laugh: no livestock for meat, no crops for vegetarian options, but look! Mushrooms in the forest. Unfortunately, sentient mushrooms that wipe out surviving human life as revenge for this "genocide". Makes me genuinely more happy to have Ghave as my "Commander", mammal that I am.
There was no need to include any kind of story, but I am grateful and happy they did. Riku's is just as good, as is Edric's. Kudos to whoever wrote these.

Re: Living Weapon monstrosity; that thing would manage to dominate Standard AND Limited! Also looks way cooler than it has a right to. Perhaps one day we'll see an equipment consisting of every LW equipment stapled together with mana cost 34, equip cost 25, Living Weapon, and granting vigilance, lifelink, reach, haste, flying, and +14+X+Y/+15+X+Y. That sounds terrible, actually. But mark it down to 15, equip 10 and call it Akroma's Spider Lhurgoyf Rapestick and we'd be in business. Don't kid yourself, though, three days ago the unaltered version would have seen standard play.

I would have preferred if you had autolinks to the cards in question.  You really can't even tell if the flavor is fitting if you don't know what the card does.

Yes, no autolinks seemed a little...weird.

The question of the week is practically begging for a wallpaper.

Ruhan defies every rule, every expectation, every stricture meant to hold him. He was born blind, but chose a life of war. He was trained by famed Fomori swordmasters, but chose his own deadly great-mace. His elders form alliances, but his allegiance is to none but his own whim.

How is this guy blue?
