mind control causes haste as well, as has been mentioned
I don't think it does. If it gave the creature haste the little haste icon would show up. The creature is put under your control, it does not 're-enter' the batterlfeild. Unless the creature you cast on currently has summoning sickness, the creature you target to controll should not reach your side of the board with summoning sickniess.

The term “summoning sickness” is an informal term which describes a creature’s inability to attack or to use activated abilities that include the tap symbol when it has come under a player’s control since the beginning of that player’s most recent turn. Just 2 minutes ago, Jace MC'd a Cloud Elemental and attacked with it right away, it didnt have the haste icon, it did act like it had haste

Bought a deck key for Machinations, used it, took out three cards, hit the select button, then it asked if I would like to save, I hit select again because I thought that would cancel. It brought me to the main screen, and when Machinations was selected again it said 0/16 card unlocked. I'd lost the deck key I'd purchased and every card from the deck was absent. I tried playing it but the only cards in the deck were lands. I exited the game and reloaded it, same problem. I deleted my install, reinstalled it, same problem. I purchased a new deck key and re-bought the cards for machinations, now the only cards in the deck are the 16 unlockable cards.
I've purchased deck keys for all other decks and haven't experienced any other problems. I just hope that the problem is fixed in an update soon. I don't really care about my lost 80ms points but it would be nice if you gave everybody a free deck key with the update fix in order to refund other people who have experienced the same problem.
Thank you.
i have the same problem all i have is 60 lans of every color... i hope they fix this soon

When I try to start the game I get a Fatal Error ("Error Unknown") message and then the game stops. I couldn't run it once. There's still nothing that worked on this problem. Already tried: - I ran Steam in Admin Mode and started the game via my Library - I ran Steam in Admin Mode and started the game directly by Magic_2012.exe via Admin Mode - I downloaded the newest Windows Update - I downloaded the newest graphic driver via Steam - I deleted all files in my steam folder except "steamapps" and "steam.exe" (which I executed after that) - I deinstalled the game and installed it again - I deleted the folder "\Steam\steamapps\common\magic the gathering dotp 2012" and after that I
- Load Steam
- From the Library section, right-click on the game and select Properties from the menu.
- Select the Local files tab and click the Verify integrity of game cache... button.
- Steam will verify the game's files - this process may take several minutes.
- Once the process is completed, the Check Window will automatically exit.
- I ran \Steam\steamapps\common\magic the gathering dotp 2012\PreReqs\DirectX\DXSETUP.exe (which was mentioned in a forum) - I ran this game in Compatibility Mode as a Windows XP and Vista System Please, PLEASE help me to solve this annoying bug! Note: I also own the former game "Magic: DotP" which runs well.

Steam-Error: The game is currently unavailable. Please try again at another time. I look at my steam folder and there is no .exe file. I verify the integrity of the game cache. Magic_2012.exe file appear while loading (2 files missing) but when the loading was done the file was gone.

Platform: Steam
Deck: Sorin Markov's Blood Hunger
Card: Spread the Sickness
Circumstance: Playing single-player campaign vs. Jace Beleren
Issue: After using the card to destroy a creature, the permanents with counters on them, and in particular those with the Bloodthrist ability (like Bloodrage Vampire), do not proliferate; nor is there any pop-up window asking me to choose which counters to proliferate. The card simply destroys the creature and then goes to the graveyard.

That creature you destroyed with Spread the Sickness , was it an illusion like Phantasmal Bear or Phantom Beast ? If it was, that's how it's supposed to work. Your spell fizzled after the illusion sacrificed itself upon being targeted.

When in Deckmanager, you can't browse through your library or sideboard while zoomed in. You zoom in, go L or R and it zooms out.
In Dotp09 you could do this (you can also do this while in a match and looking at your hand)
