In a recent tournament, I had a [C]Sword of Feast and Famine [/C] equipped to a River Boa. When my opponent played Mark of Mutiny on it and then hit me with it, we disagreed on how it worked. We both agreed that I would discard a card because I was the one who took damage ("that player discards a card"). But he started to untap his lands, and I argued that mine would untap since he didn't gain control of the equipment itself, and "you" would still refer to me. Another player nearby agreed with me, so we played it that way. Was I correct? Edit: Not sure why autocard isn't working for the sword. Yes, the 'you' in the sword's text refers to the equipment's controller, and because mark of mutiny does not change control of the equipment, you would untap your lands.

Yes you are correct. The controller of the Sword will untap lands, not the controller of the creature or the player who took damage.
