Is there any card more loud than warp world? It's just so ridiculous, and caused MODO crashes multiple times.

Petr's Lhurgoyf deck needs more Revenant
My New Phyrexia Writing CreditsMy M12 Writing CreditsAs far as the benefit of the rest of Magic is concerned, gold cards in Legends were executed perfectly. They got all the excitement a designer could hope out of a splashy new mechanic without using up any of the valuable design space. Truly amazing. --Aaron Forsythe's Random Card Comment on Kei Takahashi

In my old playgroup I successfully made Norin the Wary loud. Very loud . Classical conditioning is a wonderful thing.
And so people say to me, "How do I know if a word is real?" You know, anyone who's read a children's book knows that love makes things real. If you love a word, use it! That makes it real. Being in the dictionary is an artificial distinction; it doesn't make the word any more real than any other word. If you love a word, it becomes real. --Erin McKean, Redefining the Dictionary

Absolutely anything with a combined power and toughness 10+ that doesn't have shroud , indestructibility or a drawback to piffing it , basically. Things fitting that description routinely do not last in my playgroup. See that massive Primalcrux ? Gone. That brokenly recursive Reya Dawnbringer ? History. Of course, anything that does fit the above bill? Gold. Not only is it loud, but it's also hanging around! The loudest thing I've ever played was probably a Phyrexian Dreadnought , followed immediately by a Cataclysm . This was in a seven player game, and it proceeded to take out five of my six opponents, only to be stopped by the last guy's sole creature - a Thicket Basilisk . I ended up losing, and learnt the best lesson ever about the value of good defensive creatures!

My experiences have mostly been negative. I have trouble remembering all the details. I vaguely remember one guy who seemed to be absolutely terrified of my Seal of Fire s and Pyrite Spellbomb s. I've had other guys who blatently ignore obvious combo pieces like Geth's Grimoire and Megrim , even in the same deck. Most of these experiences come down to "sometimes people suck at Magic". I've equally been unhappy with how easily some people are directed by the first person to holler "HE'S A THREAT!" and point a finger, as if your opponent's have your best interests at heart. Your list of "scary cards" looks pretty legit to me. Establishing a Forbid lock isn't as hard as it at first glance appears, and Isochron Scepter is pretty nuts (my ex-gf had a deck that abused the heck out of it, pairing it with Lightning Helix for many games that were foregone conclusions on the second turn). The only thing that might be missing from it is board-dominating equipment (e.g. Umezawa's Jitte). I find people over react to easily answered large creatures, but fail to appreciate how nasty a powerful enchantment like Pestilence can be. That more than anything else has been the source of much of my frustration.

"So I cast Right of Replication on my Mulldrifter ." Fortunately, drawing 10 cards provides lots of protection. Evoke Mulldrifter if you don't want to be an immediate target. Edit: Island
The end is always nigh.

Winter Orb was the one that had the most noise at my old game table back when my friends played magic before it became all competitive. It just brought the game to a crawl for just about everybody. Everyone hated that card. I also think Howling Mine and Mana Flare tended to generate Positive noise. Not many people targeted them, but while they were on the table, aggro would drift off to different targets for no particular reason. There are cards that just say "Let me Live Another Turn, and I'll reward you." I'm not sure has the most noise in the current set. I'm sure there are some besides the planeswalkers, and I think cards like Contagion Engine and Massacre Worm tend to get everyone's attention due to how board changing they are. There doesn't seem to be any real Positive Noise generation in the set, though, which is a shame.

Thanks to the Masters Edition sets, there's now hundreds of Online players who don't understand how they can play Black Vise and The Rack in their frist three turns and lose every time.
