You make the Duel Deck

Is this confirmation that Phyrexian Plaguelord will be a mythic in "Action"? If so, I'm underwhelmed.

Also, I was excited about this until I heard it was on MTGO.

Phyrexian Plaguelord is definitely not a mythic rare in Lights. (Lights was Scars of Mirrodin.)

Thanks for catching that, I really shouldn't post on the forums when I'm tired.

This was posted a little more than a week ago... but, if we're getting stuff for PS3 Home, can we please get some stuff for avatars on the Xbox 360? Please?

The new Phyrexian Rager would be more awesome if they kept the idea of the rager beating a "blue" creature. Only that this time, instead of a metathran, we'd see a vedalken getting killed.

How to autocard and use decklist format  ---> Show
For autocarding, write [c][/c] with the name of the card inside it.

[c]Island[/c] = Island

For linking a card to Gatherer without writting the name of said card for readers, use the autocard brackets together with and equal sign and right the name of the real card. Then put the message you want inside the tags, like you would do with autocarding. Like this:

[c=Curse of the Cabal]Captain Never-resolves[/c] = Captain Never-resolves

For using the decklist format, follow this:
[deck]
4* Terramorphic Expanse
4* Evolving Wilds
...
[/deck]

It equals:

4 x Terramorphic Expanse
4 x Evolving Wilds
...

I like storm crow because I really like crows in real life, as an animal, and the card isn't terribly stupid, but packs a good deal of nostalgia and also a chunck of the game's history. So it's perhaps one of the cards I have most affection to, but not because "lol storm crow is bad hurr hurr durr".

Oh, it's a brilliant plan.  You see, Bolas was travelling through shadowmoor, causing trouble, when he saw a Wickerbough Elder with its stylin' dead scarecrow hat.  Now, Bolas being Bolas took the awesome hat and he put it on his head, but even with all his titanic powers of magic he couldn't make it fit.  He grabbed some more scarecrows, but then a little kithkin girl asked if he was trying to build a toupee.  "BY ALL THE POWERS IN THE MULTIVERSE!" he roared, "I WILL HAVE A HAT WORTHY OF MY GLORY." and so he went through his Dark Lore of Doom (tm) looking for something he could make into a hat that would look as stylish on him as a scarecrow does on a treefolk.  He thought about the Phyrexians, but they were covered in goopy oil that would make his nonexistant hair greasy.  He Tried out angels for a while but they didn't sit quite right.  Then, he looked under "e" (because in the Elder Draconic alphabet, "e" for Eldrazi is right next to "h" for Hat) in his Dark Lore of Doom and saw depictions of the Eldrazi, and all their forms.
"THIS SHALL BE MY HAT!" he declared, poking a picture of Emrakul, "AND WITH IT I WILL USHER IN A NEW AGE OF DARKNESS -- ER, I MEAN A NEW AGE OF FASHION!"

And so Nicol Bolas masterminded the release of the Eldrazi.

Yeah, really. If my deck was going to cost $1000+, I'd at least make it good.

Can someone clarify why teferi is holding two half-staffs, and not his one staff, broken in half, that he had on his original card?

(one end of the staff should be long and tapered, the other end is the signature "hook and eyes" - an then the last half should be broken - or maybe he had two half staffs the whole time? no? )

so, these legends what a great oppurtunity for the pictures from the old covers of duelist to be used, like selenia's on issue #20 mirri's on issue #17 and a near perfect one for maraxus on issue #18 not to mention greven in there somewhere.  and you know atleast if they aren't cards that are typically used they can still look pretty darn cool.

The current standings (where "current" means "when this was written") have Phyrexia slightly ahead:

Mirran vs Phyrexian: 8 wins
Mirran vs Mirran: 12 wins

Phyrexian vs Mirran: 28 wins
Phyrexian vs Phyrexian: 18 wins

How is Phyrexia "slightly" ahead when it has won over 75% of the inter-faction matches?
