I'm interested in the line: For some cards, it is their first time with a black border.
Wasn't the only white-bordered set with unique Legendary creatures Portal: Three Kingdoms? Are we going to rock some Lu Bu or Guan Yu up in here?

Why hello there Teferi.
This could be a cool source of shiny new EDH/Commander generals. As always, withholding judgment until it's fully revealed, but it's certainly interesting.

I'm more excited for Commander precons, but this is cool. Strangely, I like the original Teferi art more than this new one, but it's still good.
That black-border comment must refer to Three Kingdoms, I can't think of anything else it could be.
Please note: unless I'm trying to be sarcastic or humorous, most of my posts are very literal. Don't try to "read between the lines" because there is usually nothing there. I try not to imply anything when I write.

Is it just me or does the new Teferi art make him look like Lawrence Fishburne?
Also, the details they give are probably just copied/pasted from the other FTV announcements (with a few adjustments), which would explain the comment about the white borders.

Yuck, Teferi. One of the ultimate griefer cards. It'd be so much better if the two halves of his ability had been spread out, because an Orrery with Flash is awesome, but denying opponents the ability to do anything interactive at all is just... probably the single most un-fun ability printed in the past eight years.

Okay, that should be all of them. Based on the announcement, at least 2 of these will be in the new set. My guess is on Johnny & Timmy, with the preview card being Spike with the upcoming block being an Un block. (I might possibly be joking)
The other question is whether any Legendary non-creatures will be included. Based on the way the announcement is worded, I'd say no.
