This looks like a fun format, but I was shocked at the price. I dont play MTGO yet (I used to play the free trial before it got upgraded and that stopped working), and something like this might get me into it... but I would be afraid of it becoming a slippery slope (a few cards here, an avatar there, a precon here etc etc). My budget only barely stretches to cover my paper cards (and only if I half close my eyes and scrunch my nose up), so I cant afford to take the risk of getting hooked on digital cards as well as paper ones... That makes no sense to me.
If they spelled the ability out on the card in full then it would not be allowed in a mono-black Commander deck, but because they used a keyword to save space it is allowed?

Yup, just like you can have Birds of paradise  in a mono green deck but not Noble Hierarch  . YAY COLOR IDENTITY

and how exactly doies that work? i have just made a new account on mtgo and there is no such option as to use the deposit to grab the deck or anything else from the store, they always just give u the crap planeswalker theme thing and some crap commons and one m11 booster .
