So, it looks like this is coming up in January. I may be going if I do well in a Grand Prix Trial in Jacksonville, Florida, but I'm wondering what the meta will be like?
Basically, I'm going to a Grand Prix Trial in a month and I need to know more on what to expect. I made a list on what to expect:
Merfolk(the Extended Master on Magic-League had 4 top 8s of this deck out of 8 decks) Faeries Shamans Mythic Conscription Elves UW Lark Trap Bridge(Summoning Trap and Mosswort Bridge ) Doran White Weenie Jund
This deck I'm about to post is a REFERENCE to what I'll be playing and NOT a deck help. Please don't say it is in the wrong place when it isn't:
My deck
Show
Are there any other decks I'm missing that I should expect to play against? I expect Merfolk to be like last Standard's Jund and be dominant so I'm doing most of my testing against Merfolk, but I still test against other decks.
Want to know how to keep a moron busy? Reread this sentence to find out!

Masticore is rearing it's head in the merfolk variants that are using architect, but you have a pretty solid idea of what to expect in the field. My only worry is that you KNOW its going to be an aggro-heavy format, yet you have nearly no disruption in your maindeck. If your testing shows that it's simply way more explosive than the other aggro decks, then I guess no worries. But I don't see that list getting there before elves or doran forces a response from you.
