And i just saw its release date is april 1, 2011....im no longer trusting this...
I like fun, but competitive decks.  So I might not play what is optimal but they have normally been tested to have a 2/3 winrate.

Well, it's not the announcement of Set 3 in the MVP block that I was hoping for, but it looks pretty cool.  When this drops we'll be past the halfway point of color pairs that have a Dual Deck devoted to them, leaving only Blue vs. Black, Black vs. Red, Green vs. White and Blue vs. Green to get a representative.  (I for one hope they do a couple of the ally pairs before completing the enemies with GU, as I've always seen those as far and away the most cuddly pair; they're not so much opposed colors as colors who have agreed not to discuss religion and politics at the dinner table.)

Also the Knights vs. Dragons expansion symbol may be the most beautiful work of iconography I've ever seen.  I hope one of the knights is wielding a fancy halberd whose head looks exactly like this and has a stylized dragon painted on it.

I will of course be rooting for the dragons, who regard the knights not only as delicious crunchy snacks but also as valuable service providers in the management of the goblin population.

The daily deck makes me smile, not because I would ever actually play it (Frankenstein's Monster?  Ew!), but just because it's nice to see a casual nod instead of just rattling off some tourney rat's latest failure to give his opponents a sporting chance.  Halloween is my favorite holiday, entirely in spite of the packs of gluttonous and mischevious children roaming the streets, and for that matter Columbus Day is indeed very creepy.  (I invite the First Nations people to celebrate Little Big Horn Day as an act of spiritual reciprocation.)

As far as the benefit of the rest of Magic is concerned, gold cards in Legends were executed perfectly. They got all the excitement a designer could hope out of a splashy new mechanic without using up any of the valuable design space. Truly amazing.

I applaud the daily deck.  It's tempting to make one at the very least like it (I'd leave out the artifact bugs, and maybe the Reaper King.  I'm sure there's more creepy crawlies that can be found)

Possibly also:

I don't have any high expectations on this one.
Knights, as a whole, aren't spectacularly spectacular, while Dragons have a manacurve that starts at four.

That, and the chances of Nalathni being in the thing are pretty much nil.

556_6k1exrvuh3_art.jpgThis image made me think of either Flameblast Dragon or possibly Bogardan Hellkite. Both are sweet finishers, but I'd still rather see the Hellkite in the deck.

Ooooo This is cool. I already have just about all the knights in the game but this still sounds like somthing I should definately get. And it's got a Rebel Alliance symbol! Awsome!

And yet why not show some cool knight art to go with the dragon? I wanna see a knight!

I immediately recalled it when I saw the announcement.

They can "cheat" this with Fire-Belly Changeling and Taurean Mauler . They already did it in that Archenemy deck, anyway.

...

Also, wanting a Knight Exemplar and Kinsbaile Cavalier .

There are a number of things that would be cool pitting them against dragons (even wizards)

But I never really thought Knights to be one of them. I don't find the concept very exiting.
