The first card from the set I would truly consider getting outside of the new Bolts. I have Vedalken Orrery for this sort of thing already, but the ability to possibly get this out to start the game makes a whole lot of other things possible.

Flashing in Crystallization doesn't do what you want it to - it triggers when enchanted creature "becomes the target of a spell or ability", i.e. too early for that trick to work.

NEW LEYLINES YESSSSSSSS

Seriously though, what is this doing in a core set?

I mean it's awesome, but what? This is just a bunch of (admittedly awesome) random cards, not basic/core cards. Guess it really is a return to the days of old school magic.

Oh well, that just means more cool cards to dick around with I suppose.

Leyline Orrery and Survival of the Fittest on a stick? It's like I'm actually playing Time Spiral all over again!

I think wizards has finally realized that it pays to make core sets interesting for regular players too. I think 2011 might actually see a lot of play.

If this Leyline is just one of a cycle of new Leylines, there might be a crazy deck consisting of:

30+ assorted Leylines
4 Opalescence
4 Serra's Sanctum
Various lands/tutors/mana acceleration

The dream draw is: Start with five Leylines on the battlefield.  (Edit: You don't even have to draw first, since the Leylines are on the battlefield even before the start of your first turn.)  First turn Serra's Sanctum , Opalescence , swing for 20.  Even if you don't get that draw, three or four 4/4's on turn two or three is nothing to sneeze at.
