Welcome, one and all, to Third Dimension Design's University Hall! This thread will be hub of all activity dealing with the Third Dimension Design educational project that Crouch, BelangiaJo and I shall be running on the forum. Here, students can register for classes, check their academic progress and apply for access to one of the three upper schools of fantasy fantasy card design academia.

A few notes about the setup of Third Dimension Design. Each professor shall offer two undergraduate classes at a time, which will begin as soon as 48 hours have passed since registration for that class began or five students have signed up (whichever comes second: a class must have a minimum of five students to run). These classes will be on any range of topics, anything from a history course on set design to elegance in card design. Professors will be obligated to provide lessons on these topics, followed by graded assessments, projects and examinations. Grades will be given for these assignments, and by the end of the course each student will either receive a passing or failing mark in the class.

In order to apply for graduate-level courses in one of the three schools of higher-level design, an applicant must have passed three undergraduate courses. Then, that student must submit a brief letter of application to the professor under which he or she would like to study. JohnnyValdez is the professor at the head of the University of Flavour; Professor Crouch, the Institute of Innovation; and Professor BelangiaJo, the College of Colour Theory. Once a sufficient number of students have been admitted to each college, classes shall begin. Once a student has satisfactorily finished the curriculum set forth by his professor, he may be declared a Master of the Arts in his chosen area of study.

However, this is all far in the future for our applicants. For now, each starry-eyed student may choose one of the following classes to enroll in. Classes begin soon, chaps, so be swift!

Since this university is established to focus on the enhancement of the individual rather than to promote competition between its students, we will be accepting all applicants. If you are a new designer and want to learn proper card design technique or if you are an experienced designer and you wish to gain some more experience, feel free to enroll!

I, Niklor, in the event of a situation where I am placed at L-1, in other words 1 vote away from being lynched, will bring the hammer vote down upon myself unless it is a known Lylo situation by either announcement or general consensus. Note, if the general consensus is that it's Lylo on days when it clearly isn't, I will ignore them. Please respect the self-hammer by not hammering Niklor in non-Lylo scenarios.

Signing up for Elegance in Card Design and Fundamentals of Fun. Also, so it doesn't seem like I'm favoring Crouch for some reason, Designing for Psychographs. I believe I'll be able to handle the workload.

Excellent design. Always loved Doubling Season and this card is an awesome variation on that.

As for the card itself, it is quite possible the best use of mono-red vigilance I've ever seen on the boards. Well done.

In the name of basic educational ethics, although I suggest you take only one course, I insist that you take no more than two at one time. Choose, at most, which two of the three you'd like to participate in.

I'll sign up for Elegance in Card Design.

Why can't everyone see the inherent goodness in destruction? Or the evil in creation? A forest cannot live without the nutrients provided by the destructive force of a forest fire. And if I am wrong, then why is lifeblood of creation - water - the most destructive force on the planet?
