maybe a scourglass would help against those fast decks since it seems like you dont have much problem having 5 mana(converted) at turn 3. i think sharuum's purpose is to drop him after you discard your steel wind to blightning.

did you have some tough matchups colonel coo?

I think ethersworn cannonist is pretty good against some aggro decks especially if you're on the play. Of course this will increase the price of the deck quite a bit.

Don't be too smart to have fun

Cool, those are both good ideas, I'll try them out.

I took this deck apart a while back, but when BoaB Turbo-Flare came out, my sideboard quickly included Master's of Etherium w/Tezzerits.   That in turn led me to take the Turbo-Flare aprt and mesh the two deck ideas together.

My current Artifact Deck is based around Time Warp/Twincast for the automatic win, along with Tezzerits (attacked with 15 7/7 artifacts and 2 6/6 for 117 in standard recently).  It can win with Master's who are all shround/unblockable or the Tezz win.  Time warp, twincast and then the next turn drop Tezz and untap two artifacts.  Next turn swing for the win.  Fairly large amount of control in that deck.  Beats UW control and mytics pretty well.  Hard match up against Jund due to having Howling Mines and them having Pulses.  Sideboard was more or less dedicated against Jund.

so it was a fairly different list? hmmm... anyway, ethersworn cannonist seems a little bit fragile for the deck dont you think? although it's a very cheap lightning rod, i dislike it being having minimal effect on the board. omens is still the best option againts aggro imo.

I experimented with some of these ideas.  Esper charm is pretty nice in the deck.  Scourglass would help a lot if it were a little earlier, but by the time it's playable I'm dead...

The one card that's really helped the deck was replacing the walls with etherium scluptor.  Sure it doesn't have the card advantage, but it really speeds the deck up - being able to start the combos a turn earlier really brings up the power level of this deck.  Helps with the budgetness too

Yeah, the Sculptor is allowed to live way too often by opponents.  They don't view it the same as a  lotus cobra even though on turn 3 it can power out insane combos.

I've often gotten Etherium Scultor with two borderposts in play at the end of turn 2 (with an island coming to hand).  This allows turn 3 to do stupid things:  2nd Etherium Sculpter for U, followed by a free 1 countered Everflowing Chalice, followed by a free Howling Mine, along with a Master of Etherium for U, keeping 1U open for a negate .  (Cards in play at end of turn 3: 1 Island, 2 borderposts, 2 Etherium Sculpter, 1 Master of Eterium (7/7), 1 Everflowing Chalice, 1 Howling Mine: EIGHT cards in play).

Here is my current Etherium/Esper deck:
Lands
14 x &set=["c"]" class="linkedCardName" target="_blank">island
4 x &set=["c"]" class="linkedCardName" target="_blank">fieldmist borderpost

Three Things:
1) First (lol?)

2) Glassdust Hulk with the 2 Sharuums is really nice to run as well..Being able to do the infinite/infinite unblockable by turn 5 is pretty nice, even though it's rare, and turn 7 or 8 is more probable.

3) What cards and when do you use this sideboard?  I have noooo idea how to go about sideboarding for this deck.. Frown
