Oozify -- I'd be interested in seeing how this plays out; I get the feeling it generally means, "If I have more untapped permanents than my opponent, I win."  It certainly stops the game short; since lands and artifacts can no longer produce mana, you're left with things like Simian Spirit Guide .  559468433331/1000000000000.

It's definitely interesting. I think the seocnd ability could be a little toned down, maybe draw 2 cards. Getting the better half of Jin-Gitaxias for half price seems a bit much. 7/10

Ooh, I'm a sucker for the emblematic double presence of a mechanic on a card (I love Maelstrom Wanderer . I almost wish it was a little stronger though, maybe Haste isn't the best choice seeing as its not multiplicable. 6.9/10.

Haste was there because storm-combo-pump+sick creatures is terrible. This lets you use the creatures for Storm count and still win with them (essentially working as a Goblin Bushwhacker with a Storm trigger).

Mind Fray has terrible information and wording problems. Having revealed draws is always a little clunky, doing it three cards at a time with same-name triggers is just a headache. That said, it is a pretty cool Storm card, and it's awesome that it can either be a draw spell or wincon in a combo deck. I love the concept, but I feel it could be a lot better executed. 4/10


I had this idea while making that last card, and I guess this is as good a time as any to use it.

Ehh... so many things wrong with this. There's no need to specify "non-land permanents" because there are no printed black lands. "Battles a creature" is not a game term; do you mean "blocks or is blocked by" or do you mean "fights"? Undying is a useless ability to give a token, because a token that has left the battlefield can never return. A triggered ability cannot do what you're trying to make that last ability do.

A creature with Storm, eh? It took me a few minutes to figure out how to make this without resorting to Un-set territory.

...I still don't think this works.  How does a copy of a creature spell work?  Does it create a token?  Does it just disappear after resolving?  The activated abilities are rather cool, though, and would be interesting on an instant or sorcery.  I'll still give you a 7/10, since I like what you did with it, even if I don't think it works.

Compose

Draw a card
Fugue (When you cast this spell, add its effect to each other instant and sorcery spell you control. You may choose new targets for those spells.)

Basically it splices itself onto every other instant and sorcery you have that's currently on the stack.  Choosing new targets is part of the ability because it could go on spells that target.

Design a creature that interacts with counterspells.

704.5e. If a copy of a spell is in a zone other than the stack, it ceases to exist. If a copy of a card is in any zone other than the stack or the battlefield, it ceases to exist.

So, for Cloud Elemental, if you don't use up the copies with the activated abilities, they go to waste.

6/10 It's pretty cool, but I don't know if the spell is still countered. Could you make that clearer?

Scrap Magic |
Enchantment - Aura
Enchant exiled artifact card you own
Scrap (You may pay while ~ is in your hand. If you do, exile it with a scrap counter on it. When an artifact is exiled, you may remove a scrap counter from ~ and pay the exiled cards converted mana cost. If you do, put ~ into play.).
When ~ enters the battlefield, if it's on the battlefield, it loses "Enchant exiled artifact card you own" and gains "Enchant artifact put onto the battlefield with ~." Return enchanted artifact card to the battlefield under your control and attach ~ to it. When ~ leaves the battlefield, that artifact's controller exiles it.
Enchanted artifact gets +1/+1 for each exiled artifact you own.

(Scrap Magic is part of a new Mirrodin set. Artifacts revolve around exile.)

Make another card with scrap.
