Well, I'd love to. But I can't actually post to either of them.

I was going to link Puerto Rico Magic, which is what it sounds like - a multiplayer Magic format where the turn structure follows a model similar to that in the board game Puerto Rico. But since I can't, I guess I won't.

Perfect for those who thought Puerto Rico or Magic were too simplistic when separate.

(I kid. Actually that sounds pretty cool.)

So anyway, I hadn't checked in a week but now I'm looking at Steam and I do see the pre-order link for DotP.  I'm just not a pre-order person, and as said last week I've never quite gone for the Steam concept.  But I'm very tempted, $10 isn't a lot, and if I knew there was actually advantage to pre-ordering.  It says

"Pre-Purchase now to receive the 1st Expansion for free!"

Whcih implies that the 1st expansion won't be bundled if you don't pre-order, but it doesn't always work that way...

Free MTGO Tournaments you should be playing:
Pauper (all commons) - Tuesday Nights, prizes by MTGOTraders
Peasant (Pauper + 5 uncommons, with paper rarity) - Sunday Nights, prizes by MTGOTraders
Silverblack (Modern-era Commons and Uncommons - Most Wednesday nights, prizes by MTGO Bazaar
Heirloom ("Cheap" cards only, e.g. rares under 20 cents) - Sunday afternoons, sponsored by MTGOTraders
Check the superbly-made Gatherling site for more.

Other games you should try:
Spectromancer - Online card game by Richard Garfield, available cheap on Steam.
DC Universe Online - action-based MMO.  Free to play.  Surprised me how well designed it is.
Simunomics - Free-to-play economy simulation game.

Steam Customer Service has no knowledge of the physical Nissa Revane promo card and actually asked me to send links to anything promoting this rumor.

"You know what Magic needs? More multiplayer formats."

Nice joke.

We don't need more formats, just more support for existing formats!  Just have a nice EDH free-for-all, with or without Planechase.  What more could you need?

Having trouble creating Wiki threads. I cannot seem to put the page where I want it to exist. Hmm, it just seems to get lost in the grand expanse of All Pages...

Also, I cannot post my format ideas to the linked forum either.

Is it just me, or has the picture (and mention) of the promo disappeared from the official site?

That makes no sense to me.

If they spelled the ability out on the card in full then it would not be allowed in a mono-black Commander deck, but because they used a keyword to save space it is allowed?

Yup, just like you can have Birds of paradise in a mono green deck but not Noble Hierarch . YAY COLOR IDENTITY

I love this description. Like the cows are sponges filled with milk. I can see it all Nick Parks claymation-style with the cow's eyes bugging out momentarily as a giant farmer squeezes it like a squeaky dog toy, and milk shoots out of it.

A link would have been considerably more helpful.
