All those auras that stop creatures from attacking/blocking/using abilities would be pretty pointless if you couldnt put them on your opponent's creatures.  If it says "Enchant Creature" then that is all it means, but if it says "Enchant Creature you control" then you can only do that instead. Hope that helps  ~ Tim

That makes no sense to me.
If they spelled the ability out on the card in full then it would not be allowed in a mono-black Commander deck, but because they used a keyword to save space it is allowed?

Yup, just like you can have Birds of paradise  in a mono green deck but not Noble Hierarch  . YAY COLOR IDENTITY

You were lied to. If an aura says "Enchant Creature", you may enchant any creature. If it says "Enchant creature you control", then you may only target your own creatures.

You are also welcome to Swerve  his Celestial Mantle  spell (before it resolves and enters the field attached to his creature) on to your creature if you want.
