I added a full four copies of Korlash, Heir to Blackblade , as he's the only Harrow -esque effect in black. When you discard a second Korlash for his Grandeur ability, Bloodghast will trigger twice, giving you two possible Highborn sacrifices.

I could be wrong, but I believe this doesn't work. The Bloodghast is a new object after it's put into play then sacrificed, so even though it's back in the graveyard the second trigger won't do anything... Anyone more knowledgable care to clarify whether this works?

I believe you are right

when the Bloodghast leaves the graveyard, it isn't the same object anymore
I was also confused when I read that statement

I believe you are right too. I also went to the boards to check if I missed something but I think he made a mistake.

But you only need 1 landfall trigger to get both bloodghast s back. Beacuse they both trigger on the land coming into play.

playing a land during the main phase of your turn when the stack is empty (the way you normally play a land) doesn't use the stack.
So if during your main phase the stack is empty and you have priority and you play a land, nobody can respond and you maintain priority.

The triggered ability of the bloodghasts do use the stack.

So the ability noted in the article of bringing in two swamps will use the stack?

Meaning you could sac a bloodghast, return him with first land, sac him a second time and return him with second land.. so the guys theory would work...

amirite?

I base this off amulet of vigor, if you have 2x amulet of vigor on the BF, and you play a manland, it comes in untapped, taps itself for mana, then uses the stack to untap itself thanks to 2nd amulet.

Magic sure is confusing sometimes O-o
