Today's little surprise was certainly interesting. But I'm rather annoyed to note that they didn't actually answer the question: what is the Eye of Ugin, and where? Frankly, the legendary land from Worldwake doesn't seem to connect at all to the reference on Ghostfire. And as for the card, I sure hope not all the Eldrazi will be this over-the-top.
My New Phyrexia Writing CreditsMy M12 Writing CreditsAs far as the benefit of the rest of Magic is concerned, gold cards in Legends were executed perfectly. They got all the excitement a designer could hope out of a splashy new mechanic without using up any of the valuable design space. Truly amazing. --Aaron Forsythe's Random Card Comment on Kei Takahashi

Most awesome Arcana to Date. What a nice fatty, defintely getting him for my Font of Mythos/Howling Mine deck.
Yeah, it was lame that it didn't answer squat (Who exactley is Ugin, How many eyes does he have, Is he a walker, etc etc). But the preview card made it awesome enough...
We get the picture though, Ugin was responsible for helping imprisoning the Eldrazi. The fight between the walkers broke the Eye, the Eldrazi are free. And now the giant squids are angry.

Beautiful...
(Well, Kozilek is kind of ugly, but the colorless format is amazing... *Begins drooling*)

Holy begeezus, that's a cool way to preview a card. I wonder if there will be any non-mythic eldrazi. If not, there will be a really crazy all-mythic deck running around.
I really want to cast that guy.

First off, awesome presentation. Next, I just want to say I really, really hope that WotC does some serious playtesting so we don't have one or two mana creatures running around with anihilattor. If they do make a low cmc creature with anihilattor I hope they have the sense to keep it a 0/1 or something. But, it'll be so great if they pull this off right.
Crossing my fingers.

Good thing that I picked up 4 Eye of Ugin 's lol. Also, it looks like summoning trap is going to get real good as well. You won't get to draw 4, but Annihilator 4 sounds good enough

Note the collector's number. Number 6. That implies that 1) colorless spells are going to be the early numbers, and 2) there are at least 5 other colorless eldrazi , and considering K is the 11th letter, there's likely at least 10, probably a bit more.

One thing I found interesting to note was that he has the same kind of transparent frame as the Planeswalkers, so you can see art all over the card. I wonder if all the Eldrazi are like this, or if we'll get to see some cards in a "standard" Colorless frame similar to the one found on Ghostfire (sans the dorky circular art window).
